The food is good so long as you don't mind a hostile atmosphere. We were given items we didn't order- which it was implied were complimentary, and we were then charged crazy prices for. Beware when ordering poppadoms, you'll be given more than you order with 'dips' that aren't on the menu and which you didn't ask for. When we queried this after we were given our bill, the waiter was immediately hostile about this, claiming we'd ordered these items and that we should've guessed these off-menu complimentary items were actually going to be added to our bill. The waiter yelled at us all, kept giving us different prices for things- and was clearly making up prices based on what he thought he could get away with. Eventually knocked off some money from the bill but a big scene was made over it. Make sure you don't let them put anything on your table unless you ordered it- or else you'll be charged...

Absolutely fantastic experience at Severn Indian Fine Cuisine! From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming — super friendly and attentive throughout. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, perfect for an enjoyable evening.

We went for the set meal at just £16 per head, which included any starter, any main, and any side — unbelievable value for money! The food was absolutely delicious, full of authentic flavours and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was top-notch.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great Indian cuisine, generous portions, and brilliant service. This has now officially become my go-to Indian restaurant. Huge thanks to the team — five stars...

Delivery service disappointing as food arrived 45 mins late, although I was notified food had been prepared well in time for the delivery slot. Food good quality but was nearly cold peshwari naan cold, rice was luke warm so improved and chicken dish spicy so although nearly cold was still tasty. I did contact the restaurant and very pleasant but no real answer to the problem, only that they would sort us out when we order again, which is unlikely. Very disappointed as the food has always been a high standard and we were looking forward to a, treat. In contrast delivery from catchems end is on time and food arrives between warm and hot, do it can be done just needs better co-ordination with orders...
