The Restaurant Hub, Kidderminster — Restaurant in Wyre Forest

Decided to give this another go after our last disappointing experience six months ago. Unfortunately we wished we hadn't bothered. We went for a breakfast Friday morning. There were only 8 other people there. Service was quite quick and drinks arrived quickly. We could see our breakfasts were ready on the pass after the chef had rung the bell. The gentleman who was working looked at our food and walked straight past it. The chef finally rang the bell again. The three staff working knew that there was food there but nobody seemed to be picking it up. It finally got picked up when the chef rang the bell for the third time. The breakfasts arrived with cold beans in a cold dish. Rubbery cold hard eggs that looked they had been precooked from the day before and warmed up. Not even sure how to describe the bacon. Oddest looking bacon I've ever seen. The sausages were hot and so were the hash browns. The toast was burnt but the chef had kindly scraped as much of the burnt bit off as he could. Tiny tiny cold mushrooms. And then to top it all I found a black hair on my plate and when I looked at the chef he had no hair on his head but he had a very big bushy black beard. Come on chef basic hygiene rules cover your beard with a net.

A really disappointing visit to this restaurant. They just don't seem to get it right. Definitely won't be giving it...

I patronised this establishment because i required food and drink. I ordered a chicken salad and a cup of tea. The salad was edible and the tea was wet. The salad and tea satiated my thirst and hunger.

The service was adequate. I was served by a woman named Becky. She took my order correctly and charged me the exact amount of money the meal was priced at. The interaction was efficient.

The amosphere was quiet enough to allow me to eat my food without distraction. A couple next to me did talk about how great their little child was, because he had learnt to count, like most children do, other than that the amosphere...

Food was ok but service was dire Didn’t have half of the menu in stock asked for a cream tea and was asked if I wanted a scone with it 🤔 Wanted a chicken sandwich but no buns Had a chicken strips meal and a kids chicken strip meal Brought us someone else’s meal when I said it was wrong I was argued with and was told it was right Went up to counter and “manager” who was communicating in broken English hadn’t got much of a clue about being a manager no sorry or explanation I had to look on the screen and point out what was my order Still no apology

Not a great experience...
