The Swan — Restaurant in Wyre Forest

I would like to convey our thanks to Duwi, Laura (front of house staff) and the chef (Pete) I believe, and any staff behind the scenes. We are completely impressed with their attentive professionalism and customer service. This cozy pub/restaurant in the town centre of Kidderminster has left the best impressions, hospitable hosts, delicious pub food dishes combined with beautiful presentation, good beer and wine selection. I recommend to everyone! We like to come back here again and again, usually on Thursday’s. This is our absolute favorite pub in Kidderminster, the food is always fantastic and no matter what we order we are always delighted with our meals! The staff work as a team and always efficient, happy and polite and this makes a super nice atmosphere, all at an affordable price. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat. We are so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes drive away from home, wine great and lovely selection of beers. Love this place and will continue to visit. Can totally recommend it to people out shopping and want a nice drink and meal. Saying thank you seems somewhat insufficient so I’ll stick to these two words, "First class". Regards...

I come here all the time, I got told today I wasn't allowed in because my shorts are branded by the doorman. This place is a pub, a FREE HOUSE...... who cares if I finish work then go for a pint in my companies clothing. Apparently its company policy and I have to wear what they want me too. Never ever am I taking my family or friends for food to this place let alone hold my company do here ever again. I liked the place too but one thing ruins it and my relationship with this place is done. It's a shame because my friends and family are going to by-pass this place now and go to the viaduct including my parents who ate there every Wednesday...

On a recent visit to Kidderminster I came across The Swan in a wonderful town centre location opposite the impressive looking Town Hall.Inside was quite spacious with some extraordinary 'hotch-potch' seating. Unfortunately I was underwhelmed by the rather lack lustre service, staff more interested in their own chit-chat than being attentive to my order which resulted in two fundamental mistakes being made, which spoilt my meal somewhat.
