Firstly I want to make clear the food here is amazing.... initially went with my partner for the first time. It was amazing and we said it was our now "go to" place when we want an amazing curry. Decided to go back and take a family member to show them how good the food, service and atmosphere was! However I think when we returned the second visit wasn't as good. We booked a table, despite our booking being approved by them days prior we waited over half an hour past our booked time, the male member serving us and our area was not hospitable in the slightest. He was short, everything was too much trouble for him and he couldn't even raise a smile. If we needed anything we found ourselves going to ask another staff member on a different area so we didn't have to deal with him. The starter portion size was much smaller than previous visit (both on a Saturday night around the same time). We actually felt really unwelcome there. This was dramatically different to our first experience, where staff were attentive and very polite and added to the atmosphere. He was also a more senior member of staff. The place was really busy and maybe they overstretched and were stressed with walk ins, bookings, parties and a problem that happened in the kitchen. Food was very nice when we eventually ate. Service was atrocious. My friends and I had a table booked for 8pm. We arrived before our sit down time and were ignored at the bar. When we eventually caught the attention of a waitress to order a drink she wanted to know where we were sitting as they would come and take our order from there. We explained we hadn't been seated but did have a table booked. Unfortunately the table hadn't been reserved by your staff so the people who were sat st the table had to be moved on. We sat down and waited to be served. 1 hour later our drink order was taken. Some time later we were seen again however the attitude from the staff was unacceptable. She told us we needed to order food as the kitchen was closing but that they would honour our order if we ordered now! We had been sat waiting since 8pm. Food was very nice a few items were missed off but quickly sorted. Shortly after our food was eaten the bill was thrown at the table by one of your staff members. It was such a shame as the food was lovely just massively let down by staff attitude. We were a quiet no problem table who would of spent far more on drinks had we been able to. TLDR. Avoid this place. 2 hour wait for food. Average food. Crap decor.

My friend booked a table for 7:00pm for ten of us for his birthday, a couple of weeks in advance before arriving. When we got it was very busy. The table that was allocated to our party was still is use by a different party. They staff hurried them out of the restaurant and wiped the table down, so we could ge seated. After we were sat for a few minutes, our first drinks order was taken. A good 10 minutes after that the drinks arrived. 10 minutes after that, our food order was taken. We were sat, for 2 hours without food. Four drinks orders were taken before we got our food. They milked us for four rounds of drinks before delivering food. We had booked remember. They were expecting us. When the food arrived is was not worth the wait, even slightly. Not awful, just average at best and not worth wasting 2 hours for. My girlfriend couldn't even finish her masala dish as it was so sweet is belonged on the dessert menu. My crispy broccoli had chewy batter which is new to me. The worst thing about the whole experience was another party of a similar size group, sat on a table opposite us, were watered, fed and had left before our food arrived. If you want decent service in this awful place, you need to be 18 to 20 and be skantely clad....
