Cuzco Peruvian Restaurant:
A Much-Needed Gem!
This was my second time visiting Cuzco Peruvian Restaurant, and once again, they did not disappoint. Aberdeen truly needed a place like this—an upscale dining experience that caters to a more refined palate. It’s perfect for a date night, a business meeting, or even private events (yes, they have a separate event space!).
🍽️ The Food:
Yuca a la Huancaína – Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and covered in a rich, creamy ají amarillo sauce. A must-try appetizer!
Chupe de Camarones – A Peruvian-style shrimp chowder, creamy and packed with shrimp, potatoes, corn, fresh herbs, and a poached egg. Pure comfort in a bowl.
Picanha (Medium Well) – Tender, juicy, and full of flavor, topped with a delicious herb cheese sauce. Served with fluffy white rice and crispy potato wedges—simple yet outstanding.
Flan with Caramel Sauce – The perfect sweet ending. Smooth, velvety, and just the right level of sweetness, with a touch of whipped cream and a blackberry garnish.
🌟 Final Thoughts:
Aberdeen was truly lacking a high-end restaurant like this, and Cuzco Peruvian Cuisine has filled that gap beautifully.
Whether you're looking for a top-notch meal, a classy atmosphere, or a private space for events, this place has it all. Wishing them continued success—this is exactly what our town needed!
✅ Final Verdict: 10/10 – Highly...
Read moreUpdate: We’ve been back several times to try out the menu. Everything we’ve tried is superior and always super service. With almost every review 5 stars, why isn’t this place a full five stars as it should be? So I looked and found two one star “reviews” without photos that claim poor service and don’t mention what they ordered. Because they were never there. Not accurate at all. This town needs to know that they have a 4.9-5 star restaurant worth trying.
My BF and I recommend the El Jefe, a juicy , flavorful lightly-marinated steak topped with chimi-churi sauce, jasmine rice, which was the best rice I’ve ever had. Not to mention the crispy potatoes, which lived up to their name. Wish I could share photos of every dish we saw coming out!! Michelin Stars level yummy and gorgeous!! The staff are really great and the service is excellent! Liz was our server and helped us select a dessert—flan! I grew up eating flan. But I never really experienced it until tonight. Man, I will be back to try more dishes and the desserts I didn’t have room for tonight! So glad we...
Read moreThis is the third time visiting this place, as a fellow hispanic I can say the flavors are unique and the ingredients are the best quality. I was very excited to try it the first time and every time I stop by I get surprised. The seafood is just amazing and I have tried their ceviche, shrimp cocktail between other seafood plates. This time I had a ribeye that was cooked to perfection and the sides were the perfect match. If you are a local or just travelling for work you will never be disappointed in the flavors or the service. Luna is always striving for perfection and making sure her customers have the best service. Whomever tries this place in the future I just hope you enjoy it the same...
