KFC — Restaurant in Abilene

My mom and I ordered the Monday lunch special which includes a leg and a thigh that comes with mash potatoes and gravy. My mom asked one of the cashiers for a future reference how much does the breast ,without a meal, cost? The cashier then told her that the meal cost of the meal was $5.95. My mom then told her that she didn't ask for the meal. The cashier then told her that she asked for the meal and implied that she didn't ask for the single breast. She also said that some people order one thing when they mean another. We then went to the fountain and got water for our drinks. There was a red light where the water tab was which indicates to me that they don't have any water. I went back to the counter and told them this. They told me that l would have to reset it by mashing the tab. We sat down and my mom noticed that her chicken was red. She went to the counter to complain and the girl in response asks her "What do you want me to do about it?" Really?? They gave my mom a piece of chicken that was still red. My mom went back to the counter and told her it was still red. She then told her that she wanted to take her chicken to go (this way she could cook it in our microwave). The girl hands her a sack with no to go plate. My mom uses the plate that she dined in with!! Ridiculous! I wanted my mom to have a good eating experience today but after this we won't be going back to this restaurant...

Kfc is my favorite chicken place,.i didnt want to give them 3 stars...but they butchered my entire order.....do i call back andi tell the manager what happened and she apologized and said she would put me on her list and fix it.....so i returned to fix my order the following week and the manager on duty was rude from the jump ....she went to check the list and came back and said i wasnt on it..she was real nasty about it and told me we cant fo anything...to be honest we got two different things ....this caused me to call back twice...so i know i called ...but supposedly i wasnt on the list to fix my order...so i left and did something ive never done before....i called kfc corporate and talked to a lady by the name of Saige.....she listen to my story and sent out a voucher to replace the entire order.....i wanted to give 5 stars because of Saige..but the experience in the drive thru ..once i got to the ordering point in the drive thru i waited for 13 minutes before they took my order...just silence from inside... with the botched order and my encounter with the manager.i could only give 3 stars...Saige gets 5 Stars.,,...people who have the gift of listening are a great asset to...

KFC has, in my opinion, some of the best fried chicken of any store specializing in chicken. My favorite was the 10 for $10 bucket. This last visited I discovered the 10 for $10 has been replaced by an 8 piece for $15.99. I am disappointed, to say the least. Prices are rising everywhere but this particular change seems too drastic - two pieces less for nearly $6.00 more. I opted for the eight piece meal which is supposed to come with two sides and four biscuits for $25.59. I asked for mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese, as my sides. When I got home, I found two sides of potatoes, a small container of brown gravy, eight pieces of chicken, but no macaroni and cheese. The person who took my order was somewhat unpleasant. I felt rushed, and she seemed exasperated by my questions. There was no reason to rush me; I was the only customer in the drive through. I doubt I will visit this, or any, KFC nearly as often in the future. Even if I get exceptional service, I cannot afford the extreme price hikes. I find this price issue unfortunate, and do not believe this, or any KFC, earns more than three stars. Those three are given for this visit because the food was...
