Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Abilene

I went through the drive-thru and I ordered a small original Deluxe add bacon and made with mayonnaise and mustard extra onion. I have a coupon for buy one entree get another one free of equal value or less so I said make it to maybe exactly the same so they are of equal value then they said well that coupon that you're using requires two drinks I said okay too small drinks, then I get up there and the amount of money she wants blue my mind. Show I paid it and then I realized I didn't have small drinks I had larger ones both sandwiches did not have bacon on it and I got charged for the second sandwich having bacon on it and I even said something to her about it that that's not right because it's of equal value so then I'm halfway home I decided to bite into a sandwich there's no bacon at all on it no onion and very very little mayonnaise if there was any so now I had to turn around and go back and get the bacon for both sandwiches, so while I'm sitting in line at the drive-thru I decide to call them to tell them why I'm back in line and the manager says to just pull around the front and she'll bring me the bacon out so I did, so then I sat there and watched her walk out holding the cooked bacon in a full wrap with the ends poking out, didn't even have the decency to put it in a back, then I finally get home to finish the sandwich at already started and find out it's not an original Deluxe it's just an original the deluxe was supposed to be...

After waiting in drivethru for 10 minutes, I was given the WRONG sandwich! Order was smokey bacon beef on jalapeno bread with NO veggies. I get home to a Smoked Turkey with veggies & no cheese on Sesame bun, which was hard as a rock. I had to use my 'forged in fire' knife to cut off the seed top.

I will be checking my order next time before I leave the window!

**after trying to eat that one, I called manager and told her their mistake, I had to drive back to store to get the sandwich I ordered and handed them the Mess that was the 1st sandwich.

Praying that they didn't 'spit' or anything else on my smoked bacon beef cheesy on jalapeno bread, I returned home & ate my sandwich! It was very good, the way it is Supposed to be. I have gone to this location several times mainly because it's down the road from where I live but I'm about to start going to the other one across town. The sandwiches at this one have been good, but every time I come to 14th they don't answer in the drive thru, sometimes the doors are locked when it says they are suppose to be open. Like put a sign up that the drive thru is closed or something... and I saw other complaints about hair in the food it's probably because they don't wear hairnets or beard nets which you need in food service especially when you are the food handler. I worked in fast food for 6 years and their food handling and cleaning need some work. Yall just need to try...
