Ice Cream Stop — Restaurant in Abingdon

Oh my gosh, a local favorite of mine for almost 10 years. I started going to the OG one at exit 19 while in college at Emory & Henry. It's a special treat to go up to now, but I'm never disappointed.

Raspberry Rendezvous is hands down, my favorite flavor. Purple, raspberry ice cream with a fudge swirl, and tiny raspberry jelly filled chocolate candies. Yes.

Other favorites of mine are any of the wild berry flavors, tiger stripes if it's still a thing, and the tiny chocolate cows in one of the flavors.

The rotation is ever changing, but your favorites always come back around. The staff at both locations have always been some of the sweetest...

I love this place way more than I should for a guy of my age and size, but it's so good! They have a good selection of flavors. I personally love the chocolate malts, which are hand mixed, and very malty. The staff there are always very friendly and helpful (and patient), so it makes the experience even better. We like their ice cream and stop regularly. Is it the best we've ever had? Not quite but it is the best in our region. This location (on West Main next to Walgreen) is better than the one near Walmart. Why? Yes it's the same brand but it's not 'icy' like the other location.
