I surprised my husband, Clay, with a trip to Abingdon for his 60th birthday. We stayed at the charming 'A Tailor's Lodging' in downtown Abingdon and we walked everywhere - to the Barter Theater, museums, shopping and dining. We biked on the awesome Creeper Trail too and accessed the trail easily and within walking distance from our room.
We especially enjoyed visiting the beautiful William King Museum of Art. Ms. Sandra Darden was an awesome hostess and she shared a lot of history about the Museum and the exhibits.
