If I could rate zero stars I would! My family visited there and ordered a large pizza, a kids menu tender and fry, and a mozzarella stick. Upon receiving our mozzarella stick we noticed a small black curly hair (looked like a beard hair- this will bee important further down) in our food we immediately told our waitress and she sent another woman to our table (turned out to be a manager) they told us we could pick something else so we did but it was never even brought to our table. Once we received our food my niece noticed hair on her French fries. We noticed our waitress yet again at that point she went and told someone in the back and they mentioned they were so upset that they were willing to call the police to figure out who’s hair it was….. well right after that we then noticed there was hair in our pizza as well! At this point my entire family was upset and disgusted. We told management and they said for our inconvenience they would offer us 10% of our bill. Now mind you we hadn’t even ate our food. We told them that didn’t seem fair as we hadn’t ate our food they had only offered to fix the appetizer and hadn’t even brought us the replacement. After we expressed our thoughts (as well as made sure to express this further once the restaurant was empty) the cops were then called on us while they hid in the back. Once the police arrived they then told the police that we had refused to pay which wasn’t even the truth. We had just expressed that we didn’t think it was fair that we were only getting 10% off and this was even after we showed them the hairs in our food!!!! Anyways, the police arrived and we explained our side and showed them the hair in our food, we were then made to pay $50 for all of our food even after they had said they would take off the mozzarella sticks, replace them, and offer 10% off. After we paid we left where the police followed us out and then told us that we were all being trespassed from the business per the owners request! As if after this visit I would have been back anyways!!! This was our first visit to this establishment and we were treated like pure criminals!!! Beware if you decide to eat here!! They also used excuses such as “we don’t make the tenders ,fries, or mozzarella sticks at this location they are sent to us” I don’t care if they are or not we just expressed our concerns and wanted our food remade since there was HAIR in the food!! We were also told that everyone was wearing hats but even seen a man at the grill area I assume behind the register and he had a full facial beard but it wasn’t covered with anything to prevent his hair from falling into our food. So after being lied to, mistreated, and had the police called on us for expressing our concern, we will never give our business here again and will gladly tell all of our friends and family to stay...
Read moreAbsolutely delicious! I couldn't tell you which items are my favorite because my husband and I are working through the menu and it has all been delightful! That being said, it makes choosing what to order as a main meal a difficult process, lol! As for appetizers, we love the pepperoni/cheese knots and fried mushrooms the most... The mushrooms are so incredibly crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside; and those knots are just the right blend of pepperoni and cheese. Most recently, we ordered the veggie pizza and we loved it but we were blown away with the veggies. They weren't skimpy, thin cut veggies like most restaurants' pizza. They were thick and hearty.
Anyways, I meant to make a review (or maybe I already did? My memory isn't great) about when we were moving to a city nearby and we were staying at a Red Roof Inn nearby while gradually moving things up. Well, it just so happened that one of the 2 owners used to run a restaurant about 5 or so miles from our previous home!! That's especially crazy because it's 6 hours away and in a totally different state! How cool and random is that??
Our first order was their alfredo and pasta sampler (plus fried mushrooms) and not only were the meals great - even the garlic bread was awesome! They were phenomenally accommodating. Our most recent order was a veggie pizza and knots - Fantastic!
I literally cannot say enough kind things about these wonderful people and their restaurant.
Anyways, PizzaLand is 100% our pizza place to go to. I don't care that we have to drive an hour for it (30 mins in, then 30 back). And no, we don't only go there because of the link from our homestate. We literally order from there because they're just that good ❤️
Note for people that can't eat the crispy stuff right away, example: If the mushrooms aren't crispy by the time you get home - An air fryer or oven fixes them right up just like they were when they were cooked fresh when you ordered them ❤️
Anyways, thank y'all at PizzaLand for serving such amazing food... it's so good that my husband might be coming in this evening for some of your goodies as our Friday treat!
**Tell the owner from Dorchester Road that we're tremendously happy to always be customers of PizzaLand! Y'all are fantastic!

Read moreWith the decline in quality at Bella’s, and Dominos getting 100% of my orders wrong, all of us at the office were excited to hopefully have a great pizza place in Abingdon. We were very disappointed with PizzaLand.
We ordered a 16” supreme on thick crust, and a 16” pepperoni on thin crust. When the pizzas got to the conference room at work, everyone dug in before I could take any pictures, but it was immediately obvious to me that there were issues. The toppings were very dark colored, and the crust was charred and blistered. The pepperoni pizza had a huge portion covered in a lighter colored cheese, that’s the result of doing a nip/tuck on it after a giant bubble in the dough pushed all the sauce, cheese, and pepperoni off and left a bald spot. So more cheese was added and it went back in the oven to melt the cheese. Both pizzas also had raw dough, despite being black and blistered on the outside. The oven is too hot for the thickness of dough being used, and I feel confident that’s what created all of our issues.
In a positive note, the toppings were plentiful, and the person who picked it up said everyone at the restaurant was nice. We will try again in a month, see if things have gotten better, before making a final judgment.
UPDATE - We ordered again on 3-28-25, and all I can say is WOW!!!! We ordered an XL Supreme and an XL pepperoni, and they were both absolutely amazing! The dough, the seasoned crust, the sauce, the toppings, everything was great! Without question, one of the top 5 I’ve ever had, and everyone in the office felt the same way. If this is what we can expect when we order, we will be ordering way more...
