got takeout on NYE. I knew it was going to be busy and that’s fine, so i went in to pick up my food well after the half hour I was quoted at. Two employees made eye contact with me and yet no one greeted me or said anything for a full 5 minutes. And tbh no one was really rushing around doing anything and the kitchen was strangely quiet, giving the sense that there isn’t a lot of teamwork going on. I was finally greeted by a young girl in a mesh crop top with a clearly visible bra showing through. She didn’t greet me just asked what I was “here for”?? to get food?? Anyway, she rang me up and then didn’t give me my food, nor tell me if/when it would be ready. Just promptly moved on to another gentleman and rang him up/gave him his food. I stood there for another few minutes until another employee asked what I was waiting for. Turns out the wings were all set and sitting about two feet away from the young woman…
Keeping that experience in mind just GETTING the food, I was once again confused and disappointed eating the food. We got a few different kinds of wings and all of them were over cooked, under seasoned, and tasted like it had been reheated in a microwave. I’ll give them credit though, the gold rush/fever(?) flavor was very tasty but they were stingy with it!
Maybe this was a bad night for them or something but I still wouldn’t recommend going there purely based on customer service. Plenty of better options...
Read moreLove the food and the service. My go to is always the bone in wings cooked well done with extra Bee Sting sauce and a nice Garden salad. Me and my boyfriend eat out often and when he wants pizza (which he could easily eat everyday if I wasn't on him about eating somewhat healthy), my go to is always Pizzings.♡ It's a WIN every time!!! To be fair after reading some of the other not so positive reviews I decided to update a few things. First, lets be fair no restaurant be it gourmet or fast food is gonna be on point EVERYTIME. For me it's how the staff handles the correction. The few times something was off with my order it was as simple as calling them back in regards to the mess up and they have always been very apologetic and very eager to remedy the issue. That's all one can truly ask. I always keep in mind that their human therefore as capable as anyone else of making a mistake. And from what I've seen when going in they have a lot of younger staff which is awesome but I stay calm (which can be difficult on days when one is extremely HANGRY) being that the younger kids are new to the workforce. Be patient we were all at one point in life that young...
Read moreOrdered a few things to give the place a try: pizza, wings, and a burger.
The pizza had a dry, floury crust that looked and tasted undercooked. Was extra disappointed because I was looking forward to having a place near me that offered a thin crust option (it's crazy to me that Papa Ginos is only place I can find that can do it.) If you order from them, you might want to try asking for it well done to compensate.
The wings tasted like your standard buffalo wings. I don't mind that though, because it seems like some places cheap out and don't use Frank's or even a Frank's knock off, and it isn't the right experience.
The cheeseburger was the best part. It was thick, flavorful, and not drowned in seasoning. And it came with a good portion of well-cooked fries. The only slight issue was the pickles on it. They used diced rather than pickle chips, but it makes sense, since sub places usually use diced for everything.
Overall they don't seem bad. I might try them for other things, but I probably won't get their pizza again (or their calzone since they probably use the...
