Cream- Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Abington

I have had a favorite ice cream place for years and years. And a 2nd favorite. But time changes things and I am on a hunt to discover a new favorite ice cream place. As I don't eat ice cream out often, I figured this may take awhile. But I stopped at Cream today with a friend and I tried the seasonal coconut chocolate chip (exact name???...well, the one loaded with small flakes of coconut and tons of small pieces of chocolate so that it melts delishously in your mouth, all together!) and the seasonal salted caramel truffle, large, on a sugar cone. Out of this world good! Such flavor! Perfect! The size was generous. I have a new favorite place. The only downer is the parking lot atmosphere. There are no antiques and there are no plastic cow heads. Because of covid, the front tables and umbrellas have been removed, to allow the 6 ft distance required between groups of people. However, the owner was working on a backside outdoor spot for seating, even while I was there. Judging from the rest of my experience, I am sure it will be a charming little spot. I would not hesitate to go again....so many more...

I’ve been recommending this place for their vegan soft serve but it simply is too soft. I believe something must be wrong with the machine because the first time I went there the ice cream came out perfect. They couldn’t even put it in a cone for me cause it melts right away. I believe because it’s “vegan” they don’t care to fix it. People have been complaining that they still have to go all the way to providence for vegan soft serve done the right way. Also I’m tired of going there and no one addresses me to say “someone will be right with you” I’m just left at the window while they stare, while the girl in the back has to rush to the front to serve. I ate my ice cream in my car and witness that happen to two other customers. We see you see us, all you have to do is say hello someone will help you shortly, at that point that’s not customer service, that’s common decency. I hope to give them another chance but I won’t be recommending them to...

Heard that they had really great food so I went all the way out there to grab a bite before I'm going to New Hampshire for a day trip. Time was of the essence, but apparently that was just an illusion. We got seated and ordered however we did not receive our food until after another couple got our food instead. I noticed before the waitress did I know I'm the waitress found out through the customer complaining, is when she let them know that it was our food. But failed to let us know until our food was being remade. No apologies, no comping, not even an extra cup of apple juice. that however did not take away from so very well prepared and very well seasoned food that we had to get to go because of time...
