Hot Racks Cakery — Restaurant in Adairsville

Wanted to support a local business where we recently moved. Ordered a cake for a 30th birthday party. We are less than five minutes away from the bakery. I have delivered many cakes and know how to transport cakes It’s common sense to keep cakes flat. The cake was very flat in my vehicle. Every baker knows to refrigerate buttercream. When I did the five minutes from the bakery to the house it had shifted. The buttercream has come apart from the cake. Call to inform the bakery. And told it was my fault because it wasn’t flat, which it was, I asked her if the cake had been refrigerated because if the buttercream was firm, they would be no shifting. The reply was “I don’t have a refrigerator“ Was not helpful at all. Kind of rude. Okay so my sister ordered my niece a smash cake which was super cute but I ordered 24 cookies for my nieces party and I’m not gonna lie they were not it. She told me the icing would not be that hard and the icing is crunchier than the cookie. And it doesn’t really even look like the picture. I would definitely recommend for cakes but not cookies.
