Red's Viking Pub — Restaurant in Adams

Do not judge a book by its cover! This place has really good food and a bunch of locals that are very welcoming to new people. My buddy and I had just gotten off the Appalachian trail and stayed in town. We wanted some beers and be able to watch the Celtics. They hooked us up with the tv station and made us feel like regulars. We both got smash burgers and they were fantastic. Love the fries also. We also decided to share the chips with horseradish sauce. I was addicted but my buddy thought they were a bit overcooked. I think that is how it was supposed to be and I found them to be addictive. Anyway, a real gem of a place that may be a bit rough around the edges but really delivers.

Called in an order today and it was ready I got there (in the time frame they told me on the phone). I didn't have to wait at all. One of the owners met me at the counter immediately and was super nice. Not only was the owner welcoming, but the customers were too. The customers all seemed happy to be there. Very welcoming atmosphere. We ordered bacon cheeseburgers, chicken tenders, and fries. We have absolutely no complaints at all. The bacon wasn't overcooked or stringy. It was perfect.
