Very clicky, non-english speaking shop. The middle-aged pregnant woman in the peanut gallery was eating things requested and served seemingly without charge. She was accompanied by a grumpy looking man who was about her age and could be her husband judging by the dynamic. The pregnant lady acted and seemed to not only own the place (unverified) but had her daughter working behind the counter. They were the only people there for the entire time except when I was leaving. The daughter was the only English-speaking person there and communicated frequently with the mother who had questions about the order I placed with her even though it has technically nothing to with her. So the daughter behind the counter is the only one I addressed. Since I wasn't there to make waves I ignored the others and tried my best to mind my own business. After some background noise mumbling and talking by the pregnant lady, the husband handed her a plastic laminated menu which she passed onto me without warning. I responded with a curt, âOh I already placed my order, thank you.â She seemed perturbed but she left me be. After my smoothie was made I went to the other end of the smoothie bar and paid for my order. As I left, the pregnant lady started saying a bunch of derogatory things such as no manners in Spanish repeatedly. Some Hispanic younger person who was just walking in looked at me and smirked while covering his mouth in somewhat astonishment and disbelief. It was clear what was going on, I could feel the discomfort because even though I'm clearly not Hispanic, it's not like I'm illiterate. I do know some Spanish.
To summarize- I don't think I will be going back to the shop predominantly because my overall experience here was that I felt like an uninvited guest who showed up without calling when visiting someone's home. Instead of making me feel welcome I was guilted for not going through extra mile in making the peanut gallery feel comfortable with me. I couldn't even finish my smoothie. What a waste of time.
On the plus side, the smoothie was good, presentable, and reasonably priced. They did accept my credit card and I was emailed a receipt. I hope this review helps them improve on...

I recently visited Alive nutrition and Iâm so glad I did! The menu offers a fantastic variety of options, from classic fruit blends to creative superfood combinations.
The açaĂ bowl I had was perfection. It was rich and topped with the freshest fruits, granola, and a drizzle of honey. The smoothies were equally impressiveâsuper refreshing, and not overly sweet as they donât add any sugar.
The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with friendly staff who clearly care about the quality of their offerings.
Whether youâre looking for a healthy breakfast, a post-workout treat, or just a tasty pick-me-up, this spot is a winner....
