Dunkin' — Restaurant in Addison Township

Don’t like this place they are rude and don’t even try to make things easier for Uber drivers. They don’t own up to their mistakes and try to correct it. They have bad customer service. Like I ask for napkins…. But why did they give them to me all crumpled up like that???? And was told by the Uber driver for Uber eats that they were giving him a hard time. I’m assuming he was asking for a bag the food. And didn’t give it him? But yea he was struggling to give me everything. I told him I would go to his car and help bring it in. Lol I know it doesn’t look like a lot. And I’m not trying to knit pick. I’m just trying to let them know that they should be nice to their customers who’s ordering from them…. And the last time I left a review about them on the Uber eats app they would cancel my order…. Purposely….. Instead of owning up to their mistakes and just trying to actually get their customers order correctly. Like I’ve worked in the food industry and have worked at a fast paced place. I’ve also worked as a barista and if I messed up on someone’s order I would correct it. Not hard at all. And if a customer left a review how to make the service better… I didn’t get mad about because guess what. It’s to make customer service better for the customers. A couple of years ago, this Dunkin' Donuts was the go to spot everything was clean, fresh, and reliable. However, I stopped visiting for a while after noticing a decline in service and quality. Recently, I decided to give it another try and went through the drive-thru. I ordered two large hot caramel lattes, two orders of hash browns, and two croissant sandwiches. The employee on the speaker was hard to understand, but I managed to place my order. I was then asked to park by the front door. After a short wait, the sandwiches were brought out, followed by the coffees. I didn’t mind the wait, hoping everything would be fresh. Unfortunately, the hash browns and sandwiches were cold, likely pre-made in anticipation of a rush that never came, as the location wasn’t busy. The coffees, thankfully, were good. However, this disappointing experience means I won’t be returning. I hope the owners address these issues, as this location has great potential. I recently moved to the area and was thrilled to see a DD down the street. With that being said I will never give this location my business again.

I have gone to this location two days in a row the first day the gentleman at the window was extremely rude, he didn’t even have the patience for me to put my change back in my wallet.

The second day, same guy same horrible customer service. I have been coming to DD for 15 years and literary get the same order daily. Well the gentleman wanted to argue that I wanted a hot coffee instead of a ice coffee. I have never in my life ordered a hot coffee. I guess as punishment they gave me a coffee with so much damn cream you can’t even taste the coffee.

Needless to say I will be taking my money to the Starbucks right next door from now on. I’ll gladly pay an extra dollar or two to be treated with a tad bit of respect and not have some guy be nasty to me.
