Read moreIt disappoints me that I have to write this negative review, because normally my friends and I have enjoyed this place and frequented it often, but given the situation I needed to say this.
Yesterday I called around 4pm to make reservations for the outdoor area because my friend and I were celebrating her new director position and I had my dog with me. I wanted to call ahead to make sure the dog being in the outside area was okay, and the woman advised me it’s fine. I called back again to change the reservation time and I again confirmed it’s ok to bring my dog to the outdoor area. Around 5:15pm they called me back to advise me that they don’t take reservations for the outside area? I thought it was strange but I asked if it was busy or if it was ok that I come early to wait for my friend at 6:00pm (the reservation time I originally requested). I was put on hold, and then I was told if I come now it should be okay. I live about 25 minutes from this place…
So I got there at 5:45 and I noticed a party was going on outside, but being that no one told me prior of this party I didn’t think much of it. I even asked one of the people in the party if anyone was using a table and they said no…so I sat down with my dog. I had waited 20 minutes for a waitress to come address me, who realized I was the woman that called earlier. I was then told I was no longer allowed to sit outside because of the party…..had anyone told me during the three phone call interactions of the party at the time I requested I would have NEVER wasted my time going there. They even double checked with the owner but they still kicked me out. ….I was literally kicked out because they failed to tell me this and honestly it was humiliating in front of all those people and very unprofessional. For these reasons, my friends and I will be going elsewhere for our girls nights....
Read moreElios used to be my favorite pizza place around here. I moved about 2 years ago and hadn’t came back in until now. I’m disappointed in the service, everyone was rude from the minute we walked in to the minute we walked out. I felt as if we weren’t wanted there. There were servers flying past us left and right, but no one would sit us. When we finally decided to sit ourselves because there was a free table, we were yelled at and told that the table was taken. (Yes, yelled at!) someone else eventually sat us. Our server took our order, brought out some flat soda, and flat beer. Our pizza came out really fast, which seems great but it seemed odd that our pizza came out before other tables whom were there before us. When we went in to eat, we quickly realized why it came out so fast. It was rushed! The pizza was soggy and difficult to eat. We recall the pizza being nice and toasty when we were regulars… once the food came out we didn’t see our server again. We had no napkins, no crushed red pepper no refills. A gentleman from the back came to give us to-go boxes before we were even close to being done. That made us feel rushed to get out! We asked him for our bill, but no one ever came with it. At that point I just wanted to get out of there, so I walked to the register to pay. There was 4 ladies talking and laughing behind the register and none of them helped get me checked out or even asked what I needed. An older woman came up and asked them if they were checking me out, they said no so she proceeded to check me out. The whole experience was awful. We’ve been there so many times before and recommended the pace to our family, which I now regret.
Never...
