We visited this location during the weekend. We love our mangonadas and ice cream at La Michoacana so we decided to stop by this location. It was sort of busy, but that's a usual at their locations. What really took me by surprise was how muggy and hot it felt inside. It didn't feel clean, like several of their other locations we've visited. The next thing that threw me off, was that there was no menu to look at. Almost all their locations, have their menu on TV screens, because they switch and share several of their selections. Well, at this location the screens were off. We waited for about 15 min. Like I said, it was busy but not reaching the door busy. When we finally were helped, my son asked to taste an ice cream flavor. The girl was flustered, and tired so she wasn't kind at all. I should've walked away before this, but my son really wanted to surprise his dad with an ice cream. So I decided to let that pass. Then when I asked for a medium mangonada, she came back with a cup filled with chamoy (spicy candy sauce used for this drink) I noticed that she didn't put a tamarindo candy straw. I asked her if she could, she responded rudely and eventually answered that they didn't have anymore. By this time, I was completely frustrated with my service, and would've walked away if it weren't for my son, but then I noticed the manager. The manager was talking with a customer who seemed to be her friend. There's nothing wrong with that, except that the reason why the girl helping me and the boy helping the other customer were so extremely rude to every customer was because they were being over worked. It clicked in my head at that moment. In the other locations I've been too, the employees that have helped me have always been friendly, but never seem to look over worked. I work in customer service and have experienced and seen both frustrations. One frustration is of feeling busy and hurried to help customers come in and out of your establishment. The other frustration is of being in a busy environment, but being overworked and unappreciated. I suddenly felt for the young girl, and took my chamoy spilled mangonada and just smiled toward her. She didn't smile back to me, but to her manager while walking passed her. Will I be returning to this location? No, because they are in the business of customer service. I've seen other locations and they got customer service down pat, and they still manage to work with very large crowds and busy weekend days. I know it can be done. I also know this, because I've worked at a fast food restaurant for several years. It's common sense that an establishments runs better, if you value your employees and make them feel appreciated and...

It's the best place for IceCreams and Mango Nada, but at this location, we had a bad experience. I took my family for sweet treats, we were 18 people's. Store close at 10pm. We get there about 9:10 pm. Moment the know we were gonna seats there they start closing seating area. Customers are still coming, and they surprise the employee closing the seatting area. We talked to Manger but did not get a response. We took our business to "Oberweis ice cream"🍦. They were absolutely great. The manager treats our kids with balloons and small IceCreams treat in-house. They closed at 11 pm but Manger said you guys can enjoy it. we are here another hour for cleaning. But respect there time and left 10:50pm. I hope LA Michoacana management looking to...
Read moreCame in right when they opened. Two employees (male and female) were in the front and didn't speak, they looked at me and flat out ignored me after I said hello. I was getting ready to walk out after standing at the counter for a moment, not being helped by those two employees, but someone in the back came out and greeted me & took my order. She was polite and was the ONLY reason why I spent a dime in this place. I won't be back, I won't spend money where I feel I'm not welcomed. It's a shame in 2023 racism and prejudice is still prevalent, quite ridiculous when said prejudice is coming from another minority in this country smh. I'm sure if I was Hispanic those employees wouldve spoke to me and I would've had a more welcoming...
