New China Mandarin Restaurant — Restaurant in Addison Township

I’ve been coming here for a long time, and I can say with confidence that this has to be my favorite Chinese food place of all time.

I always get the chicken lo mein and plain fried rice, and I’m never disappointed in all of the times I’ve gotten it. I ask for changes with my lo mein and they are extremely accommodating when it comes to that, which I always appreciate. The service and atmosphere is always welcoming! The staff is always extremely kind, and their food portions are very ample.

One of Addison’s hidden gems in my opinion, I will always recommend this place to anyone who wants Chinese food, and I will always stick to this place whenever I have a craving. My favorite place in Addison hands down! For those who have had one bad experience, don’t let that stop you from at least trying this...

Soo I spent $40 here. We are new in town and decided to try this place. Ordered teriyaki sticks which were super chewy and mostly fat I ordered some crab Rangoon only it was burnt and no taste was terrible. I ordered some combination lomein where there was 4 shrimp and hardly any chicken and the noodles tasted horrible. Than my daughter ordered sweet and sour chicken dinner and her chicken was cold and she was not pleased she got some wonton soup with one single wonton in the soup which was weird but ok. I give a restaurant 3 times to get my order right. Well, this is New China's third time, third strike. Yesterday, my Mom and I ordered Egg Fu Young, the Vegetable meal, and two egg rolls. The egg rolls were AWFUL! You can tell they were refried from the day before, as they were very hard to chew and almost burnt. The time before, like others have posted, I had to wait well over an hour at the restaurant to get my food.
