Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Addison Township

I tried to come in 45 minutes after opening. Again 45 minutes after opening. And the doors were locked. I was on my lunch break. I only had 30 minutes to get in get out get back to work and eat at my desk. I was confused on why the doors were locked. It was Saturday. Openings 10:30am. I’m there 11:15am. I called inside to see if maybe they were going to be opening soon as I can see people working inside. Person that picked up the phone asked how he could help i asked are y'all opening anytime soon? He said the bread isn’t ready well open when we open. Again I told him hey I’m just on my lunch break only have less than 30 minutes at this point. Do you know when that will be? His response was when we open what you want me to make you an air sandwich? We went back and forth asking over and over how long it’ll take for about a minute with the same well open when we open breads not ready unless you want an air sandwich. Asked for his name wouldn’t give me it said he was the shift manger and refused to give his name. Wasted my lunch and left and went somewhere else to barley make it on time to work without any trouble. This Jimmy John’s has three stars for a reason. And no matter what you say automatic person responding to everyone about oh go here and tell them about your experience. It DOESN'T MATTER if the owner himself is allowing his shift manager/supervisors speak to people like this just because they want to get food. Nothings going to changes I don’t want your free sandwich your planing on giving me unless it’s at a completely diffrent far away Jimmy John’s or it’s a gift card I can use anywhere else but there. I think what truly happened is they didn’t have nothing ready and were opening up late and rather say sorry we’re short staff and we don’t have a timetable on when we’ll open and have everything ready to rock and roll he instead caught a attitude and basically told me to F off without...

HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!! I called at 7:54 pm and the store closes at eight. So yes I understand that they might tell me that it's too close to closing time to deliver. Which would be a 0.2 mile delivery..... The kid who answered the phone after asking my name and address puts me on hold remember it's now 7:55 pm and a new kid picks up the phone repeating the same request then in a very arrogant tone says I am out of his delivery area and they can't deliver to me. Remember it's. 0.2 mile drive and oh ya they have delivered to me on several other occasions. So I share with him that he has the wrong info and I am only 0.2 miles away according to google maps. Now I'm thinking did I call the wrong store by accident????So I know verify the location with the kid and repeat that I am 0.2 miles away ( it's now 8:00 pm ). He proceeds to tell me I'm wrong ( LOL now I don't even know where I live ) the arrogance is just beyond my comprehension. So the kid hangs up on me!!!!!! So I call him back half expecting it's after closing and their not going to answer the phone but low and behold he answers and I ask him his name so that when I'm speaking with his manager in the morning I know who I'm talking about and he tells me I don't need to know his name and he is the manager FML.

All he had to say was it was too late for delivery service I would have understood and all this could have been avoided...

Now...... As a business owner with more than enough time on his hands. I plan on making it my new mission to make sure this arrogant kid...

This is a nearby location to my home. When I pass by here to get a sandwich many times, it is either closed or not open for a period of time. Luckily, I was able to see it open this past weekend. When I arrived, the place felt deserted, ingredients all over the place like pre-cut and not touch for a while and the person working was sitting in the dining area and on the phone chatting and also did that while doing my order at the register and making it which dragged a bit of time. My sandwiches came out good as regular taste of Jimmy John's delight, but I most likely not come back here again unless if there is something improved with the customer service and atmosphere. The worker seemed to not care for the other ingredients around or did not want to do it yet until maybe....a while later....
