Dutch Bros Coffee — Restaurant in Addison

No matter the Dutch Bros that I go to, I’m always greeted with the same energy and positive atmosphere. The Broistas are also extremely kind and easy to talk to. When my seasonal drinks go out of season, there are quick to recommend different drink combinations that have never failed to taste great. If you go at a busy hour, there will be a small 10-15 drive through line wait. However, they always are kind and don’t rush you through. If you’re going to go at a busy time, don’t expect it to not be busy. That’s unreasonable! The prices are decent! I believe you’re getting the quality that you’re paying for. I would recommend asking for light ice, as regular ice is a bit much for my personal taste, to each their own. Their coffee actually tastes amazing and not burnt unlike…a specific other chain. If you aren’t great with strong coffee like myself, I recommend swapping the espresso for cold brew! It’s a lot more subtle and smoother. My current favorite drink is the Double Torture with cold brew, light ice, and soft top. Definitely a bit stronger than other drinks...

I have been coming to this location since they opened, but I won’t be coming back. I’m allergic to stevia, but there’s a girl there who has given me stevia three times when I’ve specifically asked for sugar packets. After an unpleasant initial interaction, I’m sure it’s on purpose. I ordered my coffee with “Two packets of sugar, please”… She asked me “What kind of sugar”. After going back and forth and asking for plain sugar, and her insisting that there are different kinds of sugar, I had to explain to that “sugar” is not a generic term for all sweeteners. Sugar comes from sugar cane and does not mean stevia, or Splinda, or aspartame, or sucrolose, or agave nectar, or anything else. She clearly took offense, gave me the fakest smile ever, and typed in stevia in the pad. Now every time she makes my drink, it’s stevia. I get a screaming headache that lasts for hours and break out into hives after one sip, so I’m just not going to this location anymore. Totally not...

This place is Drive-Thru only. Friend and I went later at night before they closed; and even though there were approximately 6 vehicles ahead of us, the wait to get to the window was maybe 3 minutes. Drive thru splits for the menu, then re-merges before you order at the window. My friend got a small iced Golden Eagle, and I ordered a medium hot Kicker. Wait time at the window from placing our order to receiving them was less than 2 minutes. Staff were friendly, courteous, and energetic despite the late hour, and worked well together to make things run as quickly and smoothly as possible while also engaging us in small talk while making our orders. Our drinks were delicious as well, and I would definitely recommend Dutch Bros to anyone looking to grab a quick coffee in the area! The only downside is that we didn't see any trash cans as we pulled around the building to leave. So we were unable to toss our old cups to make room for...
