Vitruvian Park Tavern — Restaurant in Addison

This place has the best bartenders I have ever met because they know exactly how to make drinks. I have been to so many places and ask for drinks most bartenders would look at me like I was just weird for asking to make certain combinations or even tell them the ingredients. If it’s there job they should know how to mix drinks right. I give props to all the wonderful bartenders and just to show you how good one of the drinks I had asked everything I ever wanted they did perfectly! Will definitely go again plus they are all super nice and it has a great vibe along with being very clean plus comfortable. Never an akward moment there and I’ll be sure to invite more friends to enjoy the service I had! Kudos and 5 stars to the best bar I’ve visited in a long time! Keep up the incredible job to all staff there and can’t wait to try something new, and they just love to make customers happy. Well they made a few where I will most definitely be coming back for more incredible tasty drinks plus getting smiles while being there. The waitstaff/bartenders are great, the atmosphere is great as well, until the owner is there. He is rude, petty, way unprofessional and out of line. I had a situation happen where he kept skipping songs we were playing (that mind you we paid for) screaming NOPE. When confronted (I was in no way screaming at or disrespecting him), he stated no one wants to hear “polka music” and that if I wanted my dollar back so bad, here it is (he pulled a wad out of his pocket and basically humiliated me). I don’t care if that’s not the atmosphere he’s trying to create as he stated, people were actually listening and singing along. However, if he would’ve handled the situation professionally and said, hey, we don’t play that type of music here that’s not the vibe I would’ve accepted it. Next time, either play your own music, limit your jukebox music selection or handle it better. The situation made worse and was blown up out of proportion by his actions and words. The bartender is so rude. I went in to use the restroom & they have a sign that says you have to be a paying customer to use them which was fine with me, a hot chocolate sounded nice anyways. As I approached the counter I realized I didn't have my wallet so u couldn't buy the hot chocolate. Mind you, I have eaten here before so I was not new to this environment. To my surprise the bartender started yelling at me with a customer and was so unprofessional. I didn't get her name but she's latina with highlights.

She made it a point to humiliate me. I understand people probably do that all the time but she needs to learn how to individualize situations & act accordingly.

I will never in my life come to dine or drink here.

You guys try Mi cocina or Mesero. The service & food there is phenomenal.
