China House — Restaurant in Adel

If I could give it negative 10 stars I would. All together a horrible experience. My husband and I came in here to eat the buffet and to start off with everyone behind the counter was rude there was an extreme lack of customer service. I got a Coke to drink and my husband got tea. After they poured his tea I asked bout my Coke and the said if you turn around you will see them in the cooler. We went and got our plates and the butter potatoes was hard the rice was sour as all can get out the meat was so tough you could not even chew it the beans was not even cooked and the chicken was still half raw. The tea was soured as well .it had to be atleaat 90 degrees inside the place cause both my husband and I was sweating excessively after just a few minutes being in there. The health inspector needs to come into this place and shut it down for good. One last fact is American people are cooking and preparing the food so this place is not authentic by no means. If you want good Chinese food go to hahira yo China 1 on hwy 41 and stay away from this place...

Well this China house pissed me off last Saturday..! I have been going up there every Saturday with my family to eat the buffet...! The food is good but the owner is very rude..! They had a young girl working not knowing what she is doing..! My meal always came up to be 8.51 and I brought my 2 year old daughter with me every other Saturday.. well this last Saturday the owner want to charger me $2 for my 2 year old and I told her that I come every Saturday and u haven't charged her until today.. and yall don't forget she is two and she eats off my plate..! Well the owner at first tried to charge me 3.99 for her meal until I told her she was two then she said well we charge 1.50 - 2.00 now yall tell me why the hell would she say 1.50 - 2.00 for a two year and and still charge me 2.00. I WILL NOT BE EATING HERE ANYMORE WITH THE disrespecting owner ..! I don't mind paying for my daughter but she has been two the whole time we have been coming up there and she just now want to charge me for her... they wont be getting my...

we arrived at 11:18 am to find the doors still locked. their sign says they are open from 11am-9:30 PM. they finally unlock the doors as we stand waiting in the hot sun. they as still scrambling to put the last of the food on a very small buffet. the temperature inside is nearly as hot as it is outside, despite two large window units that blast you in the face as you eat. there are only five tables in the small dining area. we were forced to eat on styrofoam plates and use plastic forks, and I had to request napkins. the employee reluctantly offered me a plastic tub that contained the napkins and watched closely as I grabbed a few to take to the table. she immediately set the container back behind the counter. food options were extremely limited. there was no meat other than chicken, and I believe most of it was an extremely cheap cut. drink options were very limited as well. bottled drinks seemed to be the only option so dont expect a free refill of anything here. I was very disappointed by this...
