there for a family event .. the manager Jackie what a flipping nightmare..first night my son and his girlfriend had no hot water and they offered him a nearby hotel until the next day.. we declined and let them use our Facilities that night. My son checked out on Sunday then ran back in to ask if he can be let in the room he forgotten some clothes.. she accused him of being someone else trying to get in and not leave and starts yelling at him.. her desk clerk told her that wasn't him and she apologized.. she then came to my room and said she was charging us $50 because she smelled marijuana and my son told her housekeeper "my bad".. I walked to the room with Jackie and smelled nothing.. she said oh well we aired it out.. yea right that fast.. really?? I advised her he is a college athlete and does not do drugs.. she says well it was tobacco in the garbage can and housekeeping TOLD her SHE smelled it..we both spoke to the housekeeper who said she did not say it was his room but the room next door and she smelled it outside not inside.. my son walks up with my husband and I ask if this is the person who said "my bad" the housekeeper says no it was not him and not his room. the manager then raised her voice at me and said I am not questioning her employee.. I told her she outright accused my son of a using drugs.. claimed to have a witness and I am not allowed to ask questions.. Jackie said well I'm charging you anyway.. I asked for her name, corporates number and the housekeepers name.. she refused to give me the housekeepers name and also refused to allow her housekeeper to give her name to me as well.. she also gave the wrong number to corporate TWICE.. I had to go to the office to get the right number and as soon as I walked in she was kicked back lounging in a chair taking about me to another employee she looked up and said oh yea I know I gave you the wrong number.. WHAT??!! she then gives me the right number but I later find out it is NOT corporate it's just her manager... I callled corporate to file an official complaint..as a rewards member I was appalled.. tobacco in a garbage can does not equate to smoking marijuana.. ESPECIALLY when your employee tells you that YOU are wrong..we go there from Michigan every year with two bus loads and decided to use this hotel but never again thanks to old evil Jackie.. if this is how you allow customers to be treated then we will take our business elsewhere.. even after all of this the housekeeper later gave us her name because she knew the manager was wrong.. and she apologized for her managers behavior..My younger daughter said mommy she is evil and she let the devil take her soul... ... oh did I mention we had younger kids who witnessed this...shame on you super 8 and I will pray for...
Read moreMy entire stay was horrible including check-in. It was raining when I arrived and was given my key card to get into my room (room 225). Neither of the 2 cards worked so I had to go back to the office in the rain and get the key cards reprogrammed. When I got into the room it was getting dark so I went to turn on the lights, the tall pole lamp did not work. The light switch did not work anything, I tried manually to turn the pole lamp on but it wouldn't work, I switched plugs, kept trying the wall light switch.. NOTHING!!. One of the two lights by the bed also did not work, it was plugged in but no light. I had to use the bathroom vanity light to get enough light to see. The carpeting by the entry way is torn and very worn. The bottom of the door does not touch the bottom of anything so there is a big gap where bugs can get in. The AC unit fan and vent are horrid, filthy, it looks a mess in the vent. The AC smelled stale. The bathroom toilet seat looks awful, it looks dirty because of stains and dents. The shower grabber bar is moldy, dirty at both ends, not appealing at all and very uninviting. I realize I got a discount using Trivago but I cannot believe Wyndham rents this room for over $100 a night without any discounts. I asked about getting another room but the desk agent said they were booked, no other available rooms. I was horrified and very afraid to sleep in the bed, not knowing if it was clean, the sheets were very wrinkled on both beds, possibly never changed? I had already paid or I would have left. I feel like Wyndham owes me money to have stayed overnight. I have pictures I am willing to send, yes I took them and just may decide to post them on Viator and also Trip Advisor to let others know how run down this hotel is. Very dissatisfied even at a discounted rate. I had an absolutely HORRIBLE stay! Again I have pictures I took if Wyndham's management/owners want to see. Wyndham Hotels should be ashamed of this...
