Wendy's — Restaurant in Adrian

We went out of curiosity to get the Wednesday promotional meal and I grabbed a Fuego taki meal too. We got the meals and pulled forward to check because you can't trust fast food workers nowadays sadly. Sure enough it was missing the 4 mystery Wednesday sauces that are the only thing that make it anything more than nuggets, it was missing the spoon of gloom that is special for the frosty to get the raspberry jam sauce on the bottom, it was missing the taki packet for the Fuego meal, and it was missing an entire sprite for the Fuego meal. I pulled back around to the speaker and told her but she told me to wait and I'd get it at the window again. I had to wait behind multiple other cars again while my food got cold and my frosty melted as I didn't have a spoon. I finally got up there and listed all the stuff missing and he handed me just random mystery sauces that wound up being duplicates for 2 of them ( unless there are only 3 ), and informed me they didn't have the spoon so I had to use a small one that couldn't even reach the bottom to get the raspberry sauce till I was half way done with it. They didn't even give us a straw for the Sprite we finally got. Worst of all the Fuego chicken sandwich which was overly lime flavored had fully stale Takis on it that were chewy like Styrofoam. It was a disgusting and disappointing experience. Shameful idea of quality control and customer service. Manager should...

WOW...so much to unpack. Stopped for lunch and ended up not only disappointed, but cold food and items not prepared as asked. Had to return to get saltless fries, thought they were supposed to be hot and crispy...not the first or second batch. Not sure why the bacon was overly greasy and torn into small chards, maybe it was left from the morning breakfast sandwich. My hamburger was also cold by time I ate it...was warm at some point as most of the cheese did melt on it.

As you look at the picture of the floor included, that was from an employee getting soda and spilling it...this was take almost 15 minutes after she spilt it as I was getting ready to leave. Noticed the sign was missing Wendy, not sure where she blew off to but maybe she was embarrassed by the food being served at this location. As a side note, I asked for my fries to be substituted like at another location owned by the same company, but I was told no so that is why I ended up with the fries...which ended up being tossed as they were cold and not crispy.

I also witnessed a man who came in to ask for his order he places in the drive thru...said he has waited and only to find his meal was setting on the counter and no one had the sense to walk it to his car ..he was quite p.o.ed and I can see why with the issue I had and I placed my order at...

2025: I went back to check out the new Wednesday meal; the prices are so much higher than they used to be. We sat there waiting for far too long thanks to the app, which apparently makes you hit another button after "Order Confirmation" that makes it so "Order Confirmation" does not, in fact, actually confirm your order. HOWEVER, the staff there were extremely nice and considerate, especially given my nephews decided to be brats the whole time. We really appreciated the staff that night. I might try again in another four years, but even the Wednesday meal wasn't good enough to come back to it a second time. But they've definitely improved at this location since the last time I was there!

2021: Window clerk wasn't wearing a mask at all as she leaned into people's cars and delivered their food. Order was incorrect... twice. The first time I received a triple cheeseburger instead of a triple Baconator, and a Dr. Pepper with ice when it wasn't supposed to have any. When they brought the supposedly corrected order out, the burger was correct, the drink was not. I probably won't go to this Wendy's again - they don't seem to care about me...
