Read moreI confess. I wasn't expecting much. I still have great love for the way Italian restaurants looked up until the end of the Seventies. Joe Baccardi's look must have been updated somewhere in the Naughts. It's.. above average, but not quite the image that's still stuck in my brain. But the food is excellent. We ordered sausage risotto balls which were pretty good, but the marinara sauce that came with them was excellent. I'm not a big fan of marinara but theirs is one of my favorites ever. Our server, who was fantastic, by the way, talked me into toasted lasagna. Breaded and deep fried lasagna? Umm, ok. It was darn good. But again, the sauce shined (shone? shoneded? They have me a free piece of cheesecake for my troubles. But I got back home (which was only 3 mins away) and my pizza was ice cold. Ok...thanks for the cold pizza and cheesecake.
Next, I asked for no peas in my meal, the teen on the phone said everything is made fresh so they could remove them. When I got my food home it was full of peas. I even ignored that. Didnt make a fuss. But I got half wat through my meal and found a long brown hair in it at the that was not mine!!!! Gross!!!
This was my first and last time coming to this place a total waste of money. I want a...
