How this place DOESN'T have 5 STARS is beyond me! But, I suppose it's close enough! ;)
Where do I start? The friendliness of the staff is EVERYTHING! They take the time to get to know you and your favorite flavors, make suggestions on what you should try next, and always welcomes you with a smile! :) I love the fact that I can go in there any day and pretty much the entire staff knows how I like my lattes ;) All I need to do is tell them the flavor I want that day and they're on it!
EVERYTHING IS LOCAL! That's what I love the most. I'm a big advocate for supporting small local businesses and Java Stop does it right! They even sell items from other small local businesses in the area.
Let's talk about the COFFEE!!! SO MANY FLAVORS! You name it, I'm sure they have it - not to mention the dozens of combinations they already have for you to choose from! But they have so much more than JUST coffee - they have a bunch of different flavors of teas, hot chocolate, lemonade, and even smoothies!
Okay when it comes to the breakfast sandwiches, they are THE BEST! They make their own bagels every day and they are HUGE! They even have their own home made jalapeno bacon & avocado cream cheese and they are both DELICIOUS! My favorite though? Wafflewiches with Maple Butter - your breakfast sandwich is placed between 2 waffles and the waffles are coated in maple butter -TO DIE FOR!
Okay, I think my ranting and raving about this place as gone on long enough. I'm sure no one is even reading this far but take my advice and visit Agawam's Java Stop, I promise you won't be...
Read moreAgawam's Java Stop has become my go-to coffee haven, not just for its unrivaled coffee but for the warm, inviting atmosphere that makes every visit memorable. As a 37-year-old man who frequents Java Stop up to 4-5 times a week, I've come to cherish the vibrant conversations with the owner and staff. Their genuine warmth and friendliness transform a simple coffee run into a highlight of my day. What sets Java Stop apart for me, beyond the excellent coffee, is how they've created a space that feels like community. Whether it's their wide selection of gourmet coffees and lattes, the unique treat of yogurt-covered coffee beans with every order, or the delectable pastries from local bakeries, Java Stop has perfected the recipe for a delightful visit every time. Their commitment to quality is evident in every cup, and their rotating selection of homemade gourmet cupcakes keeps me coming back for more. Not to forget, Rex, my loyal companion, insists on our Java Stop visits for his dose of pampering with their dog-friendly treats. It's rare to find a place that makes both humans and their furry friends feel equally welcomed. In summary, Agawam's Java Stop is more than just a coffee shop; it's a cornerstone of the community, a place where the coffee is only matched by the warmth of its people. It's my weekly sanctuary, a place where I'm not just a customer but part of the Java...
Read moreI'll start by saying the location is outstanding. You can grab some food or deli products on one side and plants on the other side. The chocolate covered espresso beans are delightful! And the menu is enormous. Definitely something for everyone.
The reason for the three stars is the hit or miss with customer service. We recently went on Sunday and the lady was not friendly. She seemed annoyed with our presence, questions, and orders. I understand that they were busy and we ordered multiple drinks but I also waited patiently in the long line and made sure everyone looked at the giant menu while in line so that we were ready when it was our turn. I just couldn't understand the attitude. If this was the first time I'd write it off as a bad day but it's been...
