Kind of a disappointing experience. I wanted to order 18 assorted doughnuts, and the man behind the counter looked at me blankly when I asked for that. A said, “a dozen plus a half-dozen?” He still didn’t understand until his co-worker said “diez y ocho”. I asked if he could jelly doughnuts, or custard filled, and he said they didn’t have them. Took a long time and even though their signs say their “dozen” is 14 doughnuts, I was charged for a dozen and a half-dozen - which means I didn’t get two doughnuts. The assortment was heavily weighed toward chocolate-covered doughnuts, like 3/4 of at least were chocolate-covered. The doughnuts themselves tasted ok, good but nothing special. Might make some North Easters mad but everyone I know likes Yum Yum better than the Dunkin Donuts that just moved in in the last few years on the other side of town. Obviously has fantastic donuts of all shapes and sizes, as well as the good old drinks like coffee, hot chocolate, and fresh orange juice.
