Honestly it was very underwhelming as a Korean who has a lot of Japanese friends. I wanted to have a good food but it's just not it.
We paid $71(paid extra for tip) for two bottles of water, one appetizer, and two entrees. Portion is kind of small, and the food came in 10-13min but it was served cold. When I say cold, the ramen wasn't even steaming. It was barely lukewarm.
Starting with Okonomiyaki•• This is not an Okonomiyaki. It's barely a veggie pancake because all I tasted was the batter. When you make Okonomiyaki, one of the main thing is to put a chunk of cabbage and bacon on top, and batter is to just help it keep the form. Okonomiyaki has to be thicker than your finger at least. This thing that was $13 or something was barely a batter and not even half a thickness of your pinky finger. I don't recommend ordering this.
Moving on to the ramen. I mean it was luekwarm which was not appetizing.. Even the seaweed was mushy as if it was already on the bowl forever, not served fresh. The soup base was good. I don't know about everything else. Temperature of the food was terrible. Noodle was too thick. I was expecting ramen not a udon thickness on egg noodle. Plus the noodle was overcooked and didn't taste like the soupbase at all. You do get a half an egg. The egg was good. The three pork pieces on the ramen were too dry and hard to chew. If the intension was to make a Chashu pork, that's not it...
Steak Satay was not bad at all. Again can do better at portion size but that's okay. Rice was well seasoned, steak was dry but it was okay. The coleslaw was not really a coleslaw becauss there was no cabbage or anything, more like a carottes râpées, but it does taste very good. 10/10 for that.
Servers were very nice, but if I want an asian food I don't think I'll be back. The food being cold was just not okay with me and I can't believe that I paid $15 for nothing on that okonomiyaki..
Also kimchi was spelled wrong under the Korean fried chicken...
