Well, everything you saw & read on reviews are true, horrible customer service, arrogance servers, when paying by card -tips are elevated, starting for an 18% that are charges mostly for the ārudeness and mediocrityā they attend customers, save a bit by paying cash and omit tip in this case, they donāt deserve it. Donāt go later than 11am it is worthless and you would feel angry or lost the trip because you will probably wonāt order the thing you saw on a old internet photo or the desserts, bread type someone recommend you. They close early and you will feel more unwelcomed anyways.
Expensive for local and everyone, no competition near but people keep coming so they will still increasing prices and deal with the same faces(clients) everyday. Watch out for the tall woman and the oriental one. Yes it is more expenseive than some states in US, but they have the airport and Coast Guard nearby, so thatās the pot of gold for them$$$.
Tight bakery local, basically no place to eat inside, lot of moskitos, long line to order, it is most an order&go or a to go bakery. Check freshness, sometimes they staled very fast. Everything is charged$$$, repeat order with cashier outloud before pay and check your order for malinterpretations and errors. Bathrooms close before the bakery. Practically 3-4 parking, but you can park on street, it is at front.
GOOD FLAVORS, BUT EXPENSIVE AND...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLovely pastry. In general, I love the food and consider this place a shining gem that competes wonderfully with other breakfast options in the area; however, Iām leaving this review as a warning to customers to please watch out for the tall girl with the big nose and the long hair. Perhaps thereās some sort of learning disorder involved that should merit my charity, but, in seriousness, while she bears an arrogance that would otherwise be easily tolerable, sheās missed an item here and there on literally every other order Iāve ever placed there, such that Iāve regularly had to return to the register to be charged a second time just to complete the original order which she had (puzzlingly) seemed to have verbally confirmed. Sheās also been generally negligent about handing out receipts, which makes these situations significantly more hassle than they have to be. I am at the point of debating whether itās even worth the trouble of returning here given itās sort of a long drive for us just...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe servers are great! Wonderful Puerto Rican people as always! However, the owner of the business or the owner of the building is contributing to gentrification in Puerto Rico. A croissant costs more here than in New York City or Boston! Do you think local people can afford these prices? If you want to support the locals, give them a tip whenever you visit, and avoid supporting places that contribute to gentrification. This only pushes locals to their economic limits. Salaries in Puerto Rico are NOT $100k for everyone. We felt like prices were cheaper in our hometown, Greenwich, CT. If you want to support the locals and help them out, this is not the way. You're pushing them away from their land. Support truly local places, not the...
