Bojangles consistently puts their drive-thru timer ahead of actual customer service. I get that complex orders can take a little longer, and they may want to move faster orders through quickly. But asking people to pull forward and park when there’s no one behind them is just inflating their numbers. It doesn’t help the customer.
No matter how simple my order is, I’m always told to park. Last time, they asked me to pull into a handicap spot next to a police car. I said no, so they had me circle the building and park in an online pickup spot. The employee was already standing there with my food, which made the whole thing feel pointless.
Today, the cashier said, “Can you park?” I asked where and did what he said. I then sat and watched car after car get their food while I waited. After ten minutes, someone came out with someone else’s order, so I asked about mine. The employee asked what I got, so I listed a couple of items, thinking they would check my ticket inside. Five minutes later, she came back with only those two items. No one had actually looked up my full order. I had to then wait for the rest.
I’ve even tried using the mobile app, thinking it might be smoother. Instead, I waited forever, only to go inside and find my order had just been sitting there. When I finally got to the car, I saw the biscuit was missing the egg, and the gravy biscuit had been packed vertically, which made a mess. I brought it back in and mentioned the missing egg. I asked if I could just keep the messed up one since I’d already waited, but they threw it out and made me wait again for a...
Read moreTo be honest, I was not pleased. I ordered a simple 3 piece chicken meal. I was planning on getting a regular biscuit with my meal. Rather than giving me the option to accept or decline, two young ladies promptly had already placed a blueberry biscuit in my bag. They proceeded to tell me as they were handing my meal through the drive through window. They informed me that there were no more regular biscuits and it would have been a ten minute wait. Mind you this was around 3:00 pm, on a not busy weekday. I wasn't familiar with the name of the biscuit when I asked what it was they substituted they both appeared to get irritated with my question. i.e. attitude. My point was I was not afforded the opportunity to decline and wait for a new batch of regular biscuits, they just placed it in my bag. Did they even consider I may have been allergic to blueberries. I had already paid, I was hungry and I needed to get my groceries home. It just amazes me how some of these younger kids just don't think or care what good customer service is. It definitely was not was it that day. I do a lot of reviews and rarely give a negative one this week. Customer service with fast food service has definitely lost it's understanding of "good customer service". I won't...
Read moreEmployee came to my table and advised the chicken wasn't cooked properly and they will replace it. We sat there for like 25 minutes waiting for the our order replacement. I went over to the guy that told me the chicken wasn't properly cooked and asked when were we going to get the order replacement. He apologized because he pretty much forgot about me and advised he is new and trying not to do the wrong thing (which is understandable), so he went and spoke to someone. He comes back and tells me they can only replace it if we didn't eat it, we have to return it. I advised the chicken is sitting at the table untouched because he spoke to me about it before we started eating. So he asked me to go get it. I come back with the box of chicken and the manager was waiting for me and asked what was the problem. I explained I was told the chicken wasn't properly cooked and I would get a replacement. She said okay, took the box and told the employee to replace it. They were all overall very nice at this location. I would still recommend going here because it was just a mistake of a new employee trying his best. I gave 3 stars because I had to wait so long. It was my first time eating at a Bojangles. I'm from New York and we don't have Bojangles. I...
