McDonald's — Restaurant in Aitkin

Ordered my food on McDonald’s app. Went through Aitkin drive thru and at speaker they confirmed my order. Went to pickup window and Amy the worker informs me that they no longer have my order. I hand her my phone and show her my order, order number, and that it was paid for. She then wanted me to reorder and pay for it again. Amy the manager got involved, and 30 minutes later still no food. They basically told me there’s nothing they can do, kept explaining that the app is 3rd party and I need to take it up there. We've stopped at this location multiple times while passing through. Every time we've has cheerful service and the place looks clean inside and out. The only complaint is the odd shaped bathroom stalls. People waiting can see you and all your business through large space between two panels. This last time we were passing through and my husband got thirsty. He pulled over and ran in to get a pop. They were closed and short handed but the staff was very friendly and offered him a pop and water for the rest of our trip. They didn't have to do that, especially since they were closing up. Not from Aitkin was hungry so we stopped. We walked in and was told that we need to use the kiosk we did not want to do we wanted someone to take our order as I have never used it and have a food allergie. Was told in a cocky attitude that it will be awhile. Had to pay for my order at the counter cause I was paying with cash. This all happen at 6:27 pm.
