Cliffside Key Club — Restaurant in Akron

It was my first time there. Food was mediocre. My boyfriend ordered a hamburger medium rare and it came out well done, my chicken wrap was decent but it was buffalo and I ordered Cajun flavored. We went to see a band which was okay. We’ve seen them before, this time they started on time but had to stop to fixed something which took about 10- 15 minutes. They sang literally for about a half hour and took a friggin break! So they really only sang for 45 minutes! I noticed there was a 10 year old in the bar after 8pm! Which is totally against the law! I really wanted to like this place. We sat at the bar. The air conditioning was the best thing about the place. We ordered food. My friend got the Friday special, the hero burger. It was not good. I ordered the smashed chicken, and it came smothered in canned mushrooms. The chicken itself was only ok. The baked potato was edible. Our bartender seemed barely interested in us. She never asked how the food was. There were extra charges all over the place, including for paying with a credit card. At least there are a couple decent beers on tap (Truth and Yingling). Cliffside Key Club is wonderful. The bartenders are usually pretty quick and the food is really good. I'm amazed at what they're able to serve with such a small kitchen and only one person back there she's incredible!

The best night for karaoke, in my opinion, is Thursday with DJ Afro Thunder. He's a wonderful DJ, great personality, and oh my God what a voice! can't wait for this whole covid thing to be over so we can go and enjoy more than...
