The Golden Burrito @Akron — Restaurant in Akron

I'll tell you, I have told everybody whom I felt would take advantage of golden burrito. I've only had it one time but I have to say it was absolutely fantastic. I felt terrible as I ordered at an off time and on the weekend, but the gentleman who took care of me didn't seem to mind whatsoever. It was a little different of a situation for ordering as I walked up to the entrance and thought the location was closed I pulled down the door but it was not that type of service at least for that day. Upon getting back in my car the gentleman Made it a point to come out and tell me to come on through the drive-through which I did, I ordered a steak burrito, Couple of tacos some rice and a couple of other side items and again it was fantastic. The food was hot, plentiful and very tasty. They definitely use quality ingredients. I would love to visit them more often but my eating habits Will not allow it; thus the reason I've told others about it. If you have an opportunity and you enjoy that type of cuisine, do yourself a favor and stop into golden burrito on S. Main St. in Akron, you will not be disappointed I...

My significant other and I had discussed eating in and grabbing a very common and popular brand burrito and bowl restaurant's fare, but we both remembered we drove past here almost every day. We went through the drive through, and we were both thrilled with our meals.

The burritos were large, but they weren't just a bunch of rice! I ordered the California burrito and my partner ordered the vegetarian. She mentioned she found hers to be tastier and generally a better experience than what we would have eaten this evening. My California was chock full, and the steak was very tender. I couldn't eat the whole thing which is rare for me.

We are looking forward to trying different menu items in the future! The drive through did take probably 8 or 9 minutes from start to finish with one cat ahead of us, but the food was quite obviously fresh. I would GLADLY wait a bit longer to enjoy another Golden...

Ordered shrimp burrito and an al pastor burrito today. I received a shrimp burrito and what appears to be a California burrito.

The shrimp one was tasty, not very bold on flavor. Will try a different protein next time.

The California was super flavorful, but al the cheese and lettuce were only in the bottom quarter of the wrap and did not have any sour cream. But, I didn't order it, so maybe the person that did requested it to be that way.

There's no way to add (online ordering) to add guac, diced tomatoes, etc. I would like to see that as an option going forward.

From the comments, it's take out only, so we just ordered on the app and took it home, going back to deal with the mismatched burrito was not worth the time.
