One of the best things about going home to visit is the food, hands down! This trip, however, I actually left unsatisfied. It seems that the local establishments are falling off and being replaced by chains. The staples that are nostalgic for me are no longer delicious like Swensons, Gino's, and Rizzi's, but today we talk about Gionino's. What happened?
On Friday the 30th I ordered my usual from Gionino's on Main St at 2:00 pm. I picked it up via the drive-thru and was met by a man who C-L-E-A-R-L-Y didn't want to be bothered. He wasn't friendly, didn't smile, didn't say hi, and acted as if I asked for his first born when I requested plates and napkins and proceeded to serve my the OLDEST AND GREASIEST PIZZA EVER!!! Ain't no WAY that pizza was made fresh! Then it was completely orange and covered with grease on the bottom and the very end of Luke warm. It was just a dead pizza, and there's NO WAY POSSIBLE they didn't know this! Just took my money and played in my face! ANNNND I TIPPED $3.00 SO I WASTED $18.00 ON DEAD PIZZA TRYING TO SUPPORT A LOCAL BUSINESS!!! They're extremely lucky that I was on my way to Cleveland Hopkins to fly back to Florida, or I would have come back and DEMANDED a refund! I dumped that grease bucket at the gas station and flew out. I'm HIGHLY disappointed!! I included the screenshots of the time of the order and what I paid, INCLUDING the tip! If ya'll respond to these reviews, REFUND ME MY MONEY! Read moreI am not the type to bash a company, I like to believe that when I have a bad experience its because that person was having a bad day. But they take way too long to deliver an on more than one occasion it has took them more than an hour to deliver my pizza to me. So by the time I get it, its cold. And i ignore it and heat it up in the microwave no big deal. This last time it had me extremely upset and the customer service from the staff is horrible. I always order my pizza online and this last time was no different. Monday I ordered pizza and again I waited this time over 2 hours never got it. I called them and the manager was extremely rude, asked me if i still wanted the pizza i said no and that i wanted my money back. She said that the owner of that location would call me the next morning, but they never did, nor did that manager pass the message on. So i called Tuesday after i got out of class, again got the same manager and again she was rude told me the owner took care of it and I'll have my money back in 24-48 hours. Its now Friday and no money has been returned to my account. I called the store again and the head manager wasn't any better, he informed me that they had no proof of this and that the female manager never informed anyone of the issue.Not only have they been rude to me the first two times i called, he wasn't much better. So i have to wait until Monday to see if they will do anything about it.... Not happy at all. they just lost...
Read moreI’ve been a customer for over 10 years with my entire family, and I ordered a half sausage pizza and the other left with no meat (being vegetarian with food alergies), I specifically asked the cooks to make sure there wasent any meat on the other side of the pizza because it can make me extremely sick. After spending $30 and picking up the pizza, I tried to pick the multiple pieces of pepperoni and sausage off my side of the pizza, to then consume meat after being vegetarian for 13 years. I called Terry the manager, and he told me to bring the pizza back in to make a new one and treated me very horribly over the phone as if I was unconvincing him. He told me that “he made the pizza and didn’t put sausage on that side and he would apply a 9 dollar credit on my account” after spending over $30. I am disgusted with the way the manager talked to me and disrespected me on the phone and told me I was wrong. I’m also really upset for spending my hard earned money to a company who DOES NOT ACCOMMODATE TO ALLERGIES AND VEGETARIANS. It’s unfortunate that my bad expiernces with the pizza and poor customer service from Terry will be stopping me and my family from ordering to this pizza place on our movie nights.
