Regina's Pizza — Restaurant in Akron

Total disappointment! I grew up on this pizza when it was owned by the dad on Waterloo rd. Don't live close by but work close decided to try it again. Last time wasn't so great either! My crust wasn't complete, some of the edge was missing, asked for lite sauce, don't think they put any on! I remember really good crust, this crust tasted like it had been in the fridge too long and didn't rise like it should have. The sausage was still good but in clumps not spread out all over. Like they use to do it. Was surprised that a small, not much bigger than a personal pan cost twice as much. It use to have that melt in your mouth kind of feel, like you just wanted to cram the whole piece in your mouth cuz it was that good but at the same time you wanted to remember each bite like you'd never have it again! I remember as a kid going into the shop and there was this old guy back there making the pizza and only 1 or 2 people helping and it was so hot in there but I didn't care cuz reginas was a special eat for use, couldn't afford to have it all the time, not that it was really expensive just my dad had 4 mouths to feed on his own, it was the one thing he could afford for all of us. That ol' man put allot of love in his craft not sure if the sons learned that or not!? Maybe I'll try...

Excellent PIZZA! Only Giuseppe's can compare to this place. It used to be my favorite Pizza before I wondered out on my own. Top 5 pizza in the world that I've experienced. I ordered a medium because it was just me that day and when I picked it up it was a large. They don't do a medium pizza. I wasn't mad about it I just didn't want to spend so much on lunch just for me ya know. So I wish that I was told when ordering that I was buying a large because again, I just wanted to spend X amount. Only complaint I've had in 30 year's. I highly recommend!!! BEST PIZZA ANYWHERE! Always generous with cheese and pepperoni, unlike other places, I feel like other commercial pizzas like Pizza Hut/Papa Johns, just tastes like ketchup on cardboard in comparison, I've tried pizza from places who are supposedly "highly rated" travelling across country and NONE COMPARE! This pizza will definitely show you what REAL pizza should taste like.
