So i live in hazel green, and i was so excited to find out there was going to be a dunkin’ in merdianville. i wouldn’t have to go out of my way anymore in the mornings on the way to work to stop at the one on the parkway. i usually come through the drive thru twice to three times as week. maybe more, maybe less. there has been a different girl at the window lately, she never smiles never greets me at all. the only words she says to me from the minute i get to the window till the minute i leave is my total, and that’s sometimes. monday morning they messed up my coffee and i just didn’t say anything and went on my way. this morning they did as well, so i asked her if she could fix it and she yanked it out my hand and rolled her eyes. I HATE complaining, because i am in the service industry myself so i know people can just have bad days. but i’m at the point where i just believe she shouldn’t work in customer service. that’s just not something people want to see and deal with first thing in the mornings. other than that, i only ever get coffee and if it’s make correctly it’s great. but the drive thru lady should definitely work on her customer...
Read moreThis was our 1st time going inside, and one employee was extremely helpful in explaining the use of the kiosk. We ordered 3 dozen donuts. My husband was very specific with each box - one box was to go home with us and had our favorites in it, 2 were to be dropped off at a nursing home. We had asked for wide assortment of different donuts for those 2 boxes. None of the boxes were as ordered. One box had 6 glazed and 6 other mixed. Another box had 4 glazed and 8 mixed. Our box only had 4 of the donuts in it we requested. The kiosk showed at least 12 different types of donuts so we weren't sure why we got so many glazed. Ordering was easy and should have been easy to follow. We weren't sure if the young lady couldn't read the receipt, didn't care or was just using surplus donuts of different kinds because she didn't want to admit they didn't have what we ordered? And with the way the store is set up, we really couldn't see what she was selecting. We will not be going to that specific store again. At least with the one in town you watch the employee grab the ones you want and can make sure you get what...
Read moreStopped by a couple of days ago. I parked my car and tried to go inside to place a to go order. Yes, they have a drive thru but when it comes to doughnuts I want to see them and point to the ones I want because I don't recognize them by name on the menu outside (at least many of them). The door was locked. ????? The Subway next door was open and their door was not locked. So, reluctantly I did the drive thru thing. The lady on the speaker asked what I wanted. I said 6 glazed and 6 chocolate. She asked if I meant chocolate cake doughnuts or chocolate glazed? I said, chocolate glazed. I drove to the window and picked up the doughnuts. I didn't check to see if the order was right. But, got home, opened the box, and , yes, 6 chocolate cake doughnuts were there (heavy sigh). And this is why I want to go inside and point at the doughnuts so I can make sure I get it the way I want it. There's another doughnut place in Meridianville. No drive thru, thank goodness. And make delicious doughnuts. And the best part is I get to see the doughnuts and point to the ones I want. I'll only go there...
