Ambiance is great. Everything is clean and new. Beautifully decorated. Morgan was our server this morning and she was the only saving grace of this entire experience. She was kind and friendly and explained the menu very well and even took the time to explain the difference between over easy/medium/well done eggs. It was a big discussion, which will come into play later. She took my meal off the ticket after it was wrong (three times). We appreciate everything you did to help us this morning, Morgan. Where do we start with the food... First, the kitchen staff brought us the wrong entrées. Turned out to be the table next to us. They took those back. Second, the kitchen staff finally brought us the correct entrées. However, the eggs in my Market Hash were well done. Like dry. Whites and yellows were overdone. Almost like an omlete. I said the Egg-ucation would come into play... Morgan, my dad, and I had an extensive conversation/educational discussion about the different cooks on eggs. She understood that we wanted our egg whites done and the yellows runny. She came out and immediately took my plate back. Dad's eggs were also incorrect (whites and yellows very runny) but he was hungry and decided not to get them recooked. Third time's the charm, right? I wish. Morgan, again, so graciously brought me another plate. She stayed and watched me cut into the egg... The whites were not done and kind of looked like snot, but the yolks were great. Morgan offered to take it back again. She was obviously just as frustrated as we were. I decided to just bite the bullet and eat it this time. However, upon mixing my plate and taking a few bites I discovered that the rest of the food was burnt. Parts of it were quite literally black and I was unable to identify them. I tried to eat it, but I just couldn't. Morgan offered again to have them make me a new plate, but I told her no thanks. She took my entrée off our ticket. The manager came out to speak to us and apologized. He offered to make me something else, anything else from the menu and let me take it home for free. We told him we appreciated the offer, but we had a prior engagement and had to leave. I wish this was the end of the story, but not 10 minutes after leaving the restaurant, my mother made us stop for an emergency bathroom break. She was nauseated and having abdominal pain and cramping. Draw your own conclusions... I've been to First Watch restaurants in multiple states and I've never had an experience like today. I'm sure it's just because this one is new and everyone is still learning the ropes, but we're gonna give them a good long time before we go back. Again, Morgan you were the...

We drove up and saw that it was busy. So we went online and got on the waiting list. It said 45-1hour wait. No problem. We went and ran errands and came back in 45 minutes. Walked up and they said it would be another 15-20 minutes, faster if we get a patio table. So another 45 minutes later we were seated on the patio. We got drinks a coffee, tea and water. Son later tried a cereal, milk. We ordered Chorizo-chili omelet with a side of grits, pesto chicken, farmhouse hash and breakfast tacos with grits and potato’s. Another 40 minutes go by and what I hoped would be our food turned out to be the waitress asking us what meat replacement we want because there is no Chorizo. Me and my daughter say chicken. My meal was supposed to be chicken and chorizo so I asked them to just double the chicken. As soon as she goes through the door everyone’s food comes out but my daughters. They did not put chicken for replacement on mine. I fact there was no chicken on 2 whole tacos only egg and hard unripe avocado. Another 30 min and this place is starting to close they bring my daughter’s food. Without really any chicken on it. The waitress did not once ask us if we needed anything else, we had to flag her down for more tea. My husband went up to pay and their system is set up so you don’t see what they are charging you. He clicked a button that asked what we wanted to tip and said no tip, he said I left cash on the table to the woman. Still unable to see what the total was she rang us up and she started to leave. He asked for a receipt and she repeated back “you want your receipt”? He said yes. She rolls her eyes hit the button gave him the receipt and left fast. He looks at the receipt quickly and notices that we got charged a tip over 20% which was not ok he came back to the table, got us and took the cash tip from the table.
When we got home I looked at the receipt and they charged us for a bunch of stuff we did not get. 3 drinks from the bar that we did not order 2 meals we did not get. GARBAGE! And food is mediocre at best. Shady shady. If you go check...
Read moreA co-worker recommended First Watch, emphasizing its unique breakfast menu and exceptional service. We decided to give it a try, and I must say, he was 100% correct. We visited on 26MAY24 at around 9 a.m. We apparently caught the lull between the early birds and the post-church crowd. We had plenty of choices of where to park, including three spots right up front. We opted for an easy slot to get in and out, plus I would need a few extra steps after this breakfast. The hostess opened the door for us even before we reached it. A very pleasant and personable young man quickly seated us. We had just gotten situated when our server, Valerie, greeted us. She brought a pot of coffee and a carafe of water to the table, both of which were very appreciated. She recommended the breakfast tacos. My wife got the Tri-Fecta, and I followed Valerie’s suggestion, plus I got a blueberry pancake, which my friend promised was life-changing. Every bite was a delight, with flavors that were just 100% on point. The blueberry pancake, accompanied by a house-made jelly, was amazing. The breakfast tacos, a perfect balance of earthy and spicy, were perfect. My wife enjoyed her breakfast and threatened me if I tried to steal any food off her plate (JK). The food was magnificent, but Valerie was the star of the morning. I love good service and she did everything right. She checked on us enough without rushing us or being in our faces the whole time. This was our first visit to First Watch, it will not be our last.
