This location takes card now! Fantastic breakfast food, my personal go-to is the salmon omelet with dill sauce. And after years of going, the consistency of the omelet is the same. They have a lot more items to choose from now, including chilaquiles, Mexican breakfast, and a breakfast burrito. The chips in the chilaquiles were a bit stale but it did not compromise the overall taste of the plate. The standard pancakes were really good and extra fluffy. Overall, the place has maintained a high standard, and is located in a quiet area without much traffic. Easily bikable but not much bike parking nearby.

First time at Marti’s. Mom and pop breakfast eatery. Offers various American breakfast entree as well as Mexican entree. Overall the food was delicious except that the home potatoes could be better - some potatoes were on the hard end so probably need to cook a little more. But it was flavorful, lightly crispy on the outside and not overly oily. I like the atmosphere since it wasn’t too loud and without any screens, it was great for kids compared to other breakfast locations on the island where it tends to be too loud, and without any screens all around.

I’m concerned about the quality of the food here. They served us molded raspberries and Burnt pancakes. The waitress apologized, removed the waffle with berries from our bill, and gave us a 10% discount. However, the raspberries are obviously molded yet they still served it to my 4-year-old son with the molded part buried inside the whipped cream making it hard to see. If I did not check it, he could have eaten all of it. Or if they served it to people with bad eyesight they would have eaten it too. The other berries are not fresh either.

Well, the scramble was good. Unfortunately serving my partner and I super dry seemingly day old, burned potatoes with lots of bits of charcoal might seem innapropriate elsewhere, but here is just fine . I WISH this was an exaggeration. Oh and if you are vegetarian, forget it. No substitutions or decent options for non meat eaters. Swap bacon for cheaper spinach instead? $4.00 extra. Cheese cake was SO dry and hard two of us tried it and sent it to the garbage. I don't know why this town gives high ratings for everything, but burned day old potatoes does not say to me that you as a business care for repeat customers. Take the money and run. 1 coffee that was never refilled, 1 slice of cement cake, 1 ham and cheese omelet and one scramble, both with papas a carbón de ayer. My vote is $41.00 gets you much more elsewhere and they might actually care about what they are serving a customer. For breakfast in this country if you just keep the coffee full, have fresh food and don't burn it you are 90% there. Nice space but a resounding "What's the point!" For Marti's.

PS Maybe I sound offended for my loved one and I being shuffled through and served what we were, but that would be a very accurate reading. After all, you are what you eat. That understanding has to...

We got here and sat down as instructed. Got our menus and ordered hot chocolate and our Marti’s scrambles and an extra waffle. Another party came in and sat down - they were loud as hell. That room is an echo chamber so if others are not using their inside voice, you’ll have to shout to be heard across the table.

Dude was throwing around his weight. Their entire order came out and we were still waiting for our food. At least they remembered our drinks. The other party was almost done with their food. No one checked in on us. So we finally went to go ask where our food was (had to get up and go to the other room to the counter). Turns out they completely forgot our order. We paid for our hot chocolate and left, hungry and angry. Ended up going to Jim’s instead.

I understand forgetting. But weren’t they wondering why we weren’t eating? Why we hadn’t ordered? Servers were constantly coming to the room but not one of them even bothered to check in. It wasn’t even busy for a Sunday, the place was barely half full.

Once they realized we had been forgotten, they didn’t even bother to apologize. Yeah. I had been here a few times before and the food is just okay. Mediocre. Never coming back because the...

I came here with my wife and she had chorizo con huevos which was quite bad. The chorizo tasted like old pork and smelled like it was going bad. Additionally, it was not cooked fully. It came with beans that were canned and two small tortillas that black coal from the grill.

I got martis special and the taste was decent but it was a very small portion and they only gave me 1.5 pieces of toast which was odd. We asked for salsa and were given salsa that tasted like canned salsa ,(terrible flavor, salty and not spicy) as other reviews have mentioned they seem to have an issue providing fresh food and have presented old spoiled food to customers as in the case of the chorizo we received so I would not return...
