McKinley Park — Attraction in Alameda

We like the convenience of this park but people love to trash it. There is usually trash littered around the picnic areas and the fields. There is often broken glass on the side of the building. Also, I wish there was a gate on the Buena Vista side for peace of mind with little ones running about. People speed on Buena Vista & there is a lot of through traffic. Lastly, there should be lighting on the playgrounds themselves. It's pitch black in the early evenings in the winter time there so it's not safe for kids. It would also help in general with discouraging people from trashing...

Because I want to take my granddaughter there and it was closed we decided to play Uno at the table. That would be open by now. To tell you the truth we need to socialize that's what we are made for we need each other's germs we don't need vaccinations most of the time. I just I don't think we need them that's my opinion and I'm going to stay with it. If we cannot live somewhat decent like playing at a park I almost want to say I don't want to be in this world. Now I'm not going to do anything drastic but I'm just frustrated mad and whole bunch of emotions...

Thus park is ok not to bad, limited parking on the street, basketball court, 2 slides 4 swings bathrooms, not the cleanest bathroom but there is a bathroom. Nice size grass area 3 pinic tables good for kids to play and get out...
