I always order the lunch special for $15.95 you can’t get a deal like that anywhere (drink, salad, small app and entree). I always order Pad Se Eww with Tofu, it’s my favorite. The Pad Ke Maow is yummy too if like spicy! The service is hit and miss! They only have one person serving/ taking orders (dining & take out). I’ve been in where people have finished and left but server hasn’t cleaned the table even when I’m checking out. I was there the other night and it was quick and done in 35 mins; last week I went with my kids waited 3 mins to be seated and after 8 mins of sitting down we left. Sad because it’s so yummy but waiting too long and they only had 3 tables and a couple ordering take out plus phones ringing. This area is expanding fast and it’s only going to get busier. I would like to See them thrive and highly recommend maybe a self ordering or QR code. Or have another second person work during the rush. Def come! As well I would po refer this place than the one located at South Shore (been twice, food was blah but...

Came in for lunch and it was fantastic. Food was delicious, probably the best pad sew ew I've had, I would change nothing about it! Our server was very nice and attentive, he kept checking in on us to see if we needed anything. He also gave us a small bowl of salad before we ordered, the dressing was really tasty. I also ordered a Jumbo Thai Tea, and it did not disappoint: it was HUGE, tasty and not too sweet! It's a small resturant, but it had a great chill vibe and with the music, it was pretty relaxing. Overall, everything was a 10/10, will definitely come back and try more items...

Always a great meal at Monkey Thai! Small garden salad lightly dressed with peanut dressing. The Mango fried rice is perfectly fried with chunks of mango. Not greasy and flavorful jumbo shrimp with tail. My sis and her BF ordered the won ton soup no noodles and requested extra veggies...super chunky! The broth was delicious and seasoned to perfection! I ordered the combo which includes choice of appetizer plus entree and choice of white or brown rice plus a drink. Thai Tea was good. And Green curry is the best!! Service is great. Overall great experience. Mmmmm...the best...

This place is still one of my favorite restaurant in Alameda even if one of our dishes was very spicy. I asked if they can make the eggplant dish to have no spices at all. The waitress said “Yes we can”. The dish was very spicy and I told the manager. She responded to order mild next time. Go figure! I’ll just stick to BBQ chicken next time. Maybe they really cannot make it non-spicy and just want to take orders. BBQ chicken and crispy noodles were very good as usual. I did not take a photo of the eggplant dish as it was upsetting.
