Bayport Park — Attraction in Alameda

Clean, well maintained park in Bayport with baseball fields and huge lawn space next to Ruby Bridges Elementary School. There is a small playground with a swing set, slides and space ship that parents and little ones enjoy. It is great that the playground is enclosed by a fence to keep toddlers from running away. There is a free parking lot for easy parking. The only thing missing is picnic tables perhaps because there are no eating signs posted within the playground. Clean, safe park in a good part of Alameda. Multiple soccer fields, baseball fields, play structure, bathrooms, parking lot.

Only 3 basic picnic tables so ability to host a birthday party might be limited. Not much in the way of shade, unfortunately. There are trees but they are on the sidewalks on the perimeter.

This is a cute tiny park with a new playground. The grassy field usually has people playing baseball, or nice people with their doggos. We brought our daughter to play, and dog to run around.
