Great Alaska Pizza Co — Restaurant in Alaska

Ordered 4 pizzas for carry out through their website. Having a family get together for 8 of us. Went to the DeBarr location. The site said it would take 10 minutes. Arrived about 20 minutes later and was told stuffed crust takes longer so it would be another 12 minutes. No problem, they even said they would bring it out to me in the car. I was parked right by the door, so I said thank you and went to wait in my car. After 25 or so minutes I was a little irritated and went in to see what the hold up was. They told me they had been really busy and they were sorry for the delay, but pizzas still weren't ready. I was sitting at their front door. They were not busy. Waited another 10 or 15 minutes in the restaurant this time. Another couple came in and picked up 4 pizzas. They said they had ordered 15 or 20 minutes ago. My pizzas came up right after theirs. So that tells me that they didn't start my pizzas until I came into the restaurant. I finally got my pizzas an hour after I ordered them. THEN I get home and they made one of the pizzas wrong, so I have to go back and get them to make me a new pizza. After all this all I get is a shrug from the guy behind the counter and a half hearted "Sorry." An awful lot of waiting and frustration for some pizza I would describe...

Big shout out to Dakota at Great Alaska Pizza's DeBarr location. So glad a friend recommended them. My phone order was ready in 10min, less than half the time another place quoted. Pizza smelled and looked FABULOUS, toasty warm, just the right amount of browning on top and crust. Toppings were carefully spread out, not just thrown on. Slices were even too. Dakota noticed one of the box corners was slightly crumpled, asked if I wanted a replacement. I declined, but really appreciated his attention to detail and customer satisfaction.

I told him this was a thank you gift - Supreme pizza for Supreme service! We chatted for a few minutes about the organization it was going to. I was very impressed with the warm and friendly attention he gave me during his lunch rush. He said he was having a good day, that rainy weather is pizza weather 😅, so I reluctantly let him get back to work.

Recipient was QUITE excited to see whose pizza I showed up with. My thanks to Dakota for making a whole office...

I've called for delivery even though I had to wait for a while. The person I've talked to was nice even though they were highly busy I order two pizzas a medium pepperoni and garlic chicken pizza and 2 orders of buffalo wings. Both pizzas were dry the pepperoni next time I have to order extra pepperoni and a little bit more sauce, as for the garlic chicken pizza I'll have to asked for either more sauce or I'll just make the sauce myself as for the buffalo wings for that it needs some more hot and spicy flavor to the sauce give it a little kick . I'd also ask for crushed peppers and parmesan cheese and garlic sauce I didn't receive it with the order. As for the delivery driver he was at my place on time with...
