Cafecito Bonito — Restaurant in Alaska

I came across this place and you know how many buildings in anchorage tend to be a bit chilly? It's actually nice and warm in here! The espresso bar is nice and decorated, you can watch the baristas work and their tables are spread out. Its cozy, the drinks are great. The espresso has acidity kept on it and is not bitter or burnt. I also had myself the cranberry orange cupcake, so good and fragrant. The orange really shines through and the cakes are moist. I can't say good enough things regarding the food, service, and ambiance. I had the fruit tart, which was chef kiss, and the Spanish Latte, while my sister had a toasted bagel and Café De Olla. We were EXTREMELY happy with the drinks, which come hot or iced, and the fresh pastries.

The owner is very lovely young lady and great with the customers. She takes her time to check in with each of her customers and has quite a number of regulars that can't say enough good things.

This is a cute place, queer friendly, and i wanted it to be nice. But it’s overpriced, without listing prices and unorganized. They have a giant unused fridge on the main bar that makes it confusing how the space flows. Takeout containers carelessly don’t match the size of the pastries (which was tasty), and service is unenthused. the art, music, and vibe is cool, but no one is sitting inside…
