Good News: Best pizza I have ever had. SO delicious and the crust - OMG to die for. Bad News: We went here after picking up my sister from the airport. I had raved about this restaurant for weeks since I was so excited about it and showing her how amazing it was. Unfortunately, my husband has a medical condition that requires he have a medical service dog. We walked in and as we sat down, the owner/manager (I think) came out of the back and told us we could not have a dog in the restaurant. We explained that she was a medical support dog to which he replied in his words, "you look like three healthy adults and you cannot have a dog in here with you." We again explained that you cannot refuse service to someone because they have a medical support dog since it violates state and federal law. We offered to show him verification, but again, he refused. He smelled strongly of alcohol and we were told that he had been drinking all day. There was no one else in the restaurant at the time. He kept repeating that we "looked" like healthy adults. I am wondering if other patrons have had this same experience. I wonder if you have someone with a medical issue that uses a support dog and goes in to this place has a similar experience??!! So sad because we will never support them again, although I am a HUGE proponent of always supporting local businesses over the big ones, but he has lost faithful customers because of this situation. After some research, we also found out there have been six health department violations as well. Very sad day for us, but it is what it is. This was not the Alaskan spirit we have come to know and find this entire situation heart breaking. Until there is new management/ownership that understand the law, we will be choosing other...
Read moreAllergen and dietary restriction alert!!!!! Terrible customer service and a menu that doesn't include ingredients listed. I called in after picking up an order and asked to speak to the Manager on Duty. The person said flatly "yeah, that's me". I told them I'd like to suggest that they add the ingredients for their house salad to the menu because I did not expect the house salad to have pepperoni and ham on it. The response was gruff and irritated "our house salads have had pepperoni and salami on it since 1977". I'm not sure how that's an appropriate response to my suggestion. I was not taken seriously nor was my suggestion respected, and it was obvious. First time ordering a salad in 20 years as a customer but the MODs response has ensured I will never order from them again. Synopsis: Both salads Muldoon pizza serves have two to four meats on them. I called to make a polite suggestion and I was treated rudely. I personally don't suggest spending money at a business that's response to constructive criticism is the equivalent of "that's the way we've always done...
Read moreI remember when I was a kid and my mom and dad would order for delivery back in the early 90s. I grew up ordering and eating the best pizza from Muldoon Pizza. Was so amazing. when I got married in early 2000 I introduced my wife to Muldoon pizza and she loved it like I did when I was growing up. Good customer service and awesome delivery driver. Something’s changed about the pizza. Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago we noticed when we ordered for delivery and received it that it doesn’t look or taste the same. We always order the super special that has everything on it. Now it has cheese for the first couple of bites and the rest is all dough with red sauce and a whole bunch of diced tomatoes and pineapple on it. So the wife and I thought it might have been an off night and reordered the same pizza with extra cheese and when we got it there was no extra cheese and it was exactly what we got the two weeks before. I truly don’t know what’s going on but it seems like they may have sold out and have new owners. The wife and I probably won’t order any more pizza from...
