Pho’ Vietnam #2 should be #1 on your list for Vietnamese food. While visiting Anchorage I was an avid patron of Pho’ Vietnam #2. I visited the restaurant 5 times in the course of 2 weeks. I’m use to the flavors of the east coast Vietnamese dishes and Pho’ Vietnam is it. The aroma is pungent and the flavors plays a full concert on your tastebuds. They also have some Thai dishes to choose from. The times I visited I had their Pho’ Combo and Spicy Noodle Soup (Bún Bò Huê ). Both dishes were extravagant and silenced my cravings. The Spicy Noodle Soup (Bún Bò Huê) that I’m used to usually comes with pig feet which it didn’t have but it doesn’t take away from the flavors and it’s replaced with a plentiful amount of other ingredients. Have a craving for Vietnamese food, whether it’s during winter or even in the warmer weathers, warm your soul up with Pho’ Vietnam #2. It’s your hidden gem.

After eating at 7 different pho restaurants in Anchorage, THIS is my favorite thus far & it'swhy I'm back for a 2nd time! I love the fast, professional service, the presentation, and the flavor of the soup/broth. I ordered the combination pho noodle and it was fantastic compared to those I've eaten elsewhere. I'll definitely return; I found this place by accident after returning from the Arctic Valley Road drive. Past reviewers of this place also helped in deciding where to spend my hard-earned money. The Thai ice tea and ice coffee with condense milk are delicious and have given me a second wind in the afternoon. So yes, I highly recommend this place.

This place hits the spot! I had a bowl of oxtail pho and a bánh mì sandwich, and both were excellent. The oxtail was packed with flavor and fall-off-the-bone tender. The broth was rich, and everything came out fast and hot. The bánh mì? Best I’ve had anywhere—crispy bread, fresh veggies, and flavorful meat that really stood out. The restaurant was clean, the staff was friendly and quick, and the overall vibe was welcoming. Prices were maybe 20% higher than some other pho spots I’ve tried, but honestly, the food was also about 20% better—worth it in my book. I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu.

I DoorDashed an order of food from this restaurant. I’d like to say that everything I ordered was average at best, with the exception of the sandwiches, which rate a below average.

I eat at Vietnamese restaurants throughout the country and these are the worst Vietnamese sandwiches I’ve had. The bread was at least two days old and stale. The meat had gristle in it and was of poor quality.

When I attempted to call the restaurant and voice my opinion the owners and operators began to loudly speak in Vietnamese and make a loud chopping sounds on what I assume was a cutting board, so that the conversation was difficult to have. I interpret this as poor customer service.

There are other choices within the Anchorage area and I will definitely choose them before returning my...
