Bear Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Alaska

This place is phenomenal. I’ve been to all the boba places in Anchorage, and this is the best hands down. Everything is fresh and you can taste that it’s made with quality ingredients. I appreciate that the ‘bear signature’ (their take on a brown sugar boba) is just the right amount of sweet—pleasant but not gag-worthy. The optional shot of espresso adds a wonderful depth of flavor and isn’t something I’ve ever had with boba. Prices are fair, and the atmosphere is nice. They only just opened and are still in their ‘soft opening’ phase, so don’t listen to the clowns who gave this place one star. Staff has been very nice every time I’ve gone in. I just wish their hours were longer. 6 seems a bit early to close, and it’s odd to close for an hour in the afternoon, but hopefully as the business grows these staffing issues can...

I don’t know whats up with this place. The workers in here feel so overly entitled. The self checkout tablet was having issues which kept making me swipe my card and ended up over charging me. When I went back in line to address the issue the one of the workers here rolled her eyes at me and gave me a nasty look like i was wrong for wanting the money i was overcharged back and honestly I would’ve just let it go but I was overcharged like 20 dollars. I come here often and always tip, respect the customers, use my manners etc, but the second I have a problem with something the service I get is completely crappy. Definitely won’t be coming back to this place they can keep their crappy service i’ll take my loyalty...

I literally never come here without having an issue. They messed up how they charged me at the register and made me come back in the long line to pay them 79 cents (keep in mind I left a 4$ tip). Literally super petty and low of the workers here. Before that I came here to get a drink for my wife and i used to self ordering kiosk machine the internet on the machine was working perfectly up until it was time for me to swipe my card. It kept telling me that there was an issue with the network making me re swipe my card again. This went on about 6 times before it finally worked. Little did i know it was charging my card each and every time it said there was a network issue. This place is just sketchy...
