We heard such great things about this restaurant and were so excited to try it. While we waited to be serviced, we watched multiple dine in and togo orders be served with incorrect times and long wait times. Still holding onto hope, we excitedly tried a few different items. For our main course, we ordered the California Burrito & the Birria Ramen. The California burrito was bland, the ground beef in it looked and taste like it had that McCormick brand Taco Seasoning used to season it, and the fries were soggy and mush. The Birria Ramen was quite literally made with Top Ramen noodles (you could see their boxes of it from our table, see pics). The beef in the birria was very obviously not cooked anywhere near the consomé and had zero taste to it. We tried to salvage it by eating the consomé with the handful of torilla chips it was served with, but every bite taste like we coated our chip in pure vegetable oil. $14 for a bag of top ramen noodles, plain beef, and oil is insane. To top it off, I have been sick since we got home from the restaurant.
The servers were very nice and sweet, but the food felt like a cheap Walmart run thrown together and made me sick. There were also tiny flies flying around and on our food the entire meal. How this place hasnt had a single bad review so far is mindblowing. We will most definitely never...

Had the Mole Enchiladas!! A I have to say is Delicious!! Was not disappointed at all!! Anyone trying this will definitely enjoy it and it is plenty filling for most people. Came with rice and bean with were equally tasty!!
But I had to try the Shrimp Tacos alacart two each and they were stuffed and flavorful!! Eric remembers me from another restaurant and loaded it up with fresh habaneros for me!!
I can't wait to come back and try other menu items!!
Early lunch at Roberto’s Restaurant !!
Tried the Habanero Wings and they were definitely delicious, they were saucy and crispy at the same time. The did add more fresh habaneros for me , but flavors are there!
Then the Chipotle Shrimp Scampi was on point, also had more habaneros forbmy plate. Favor was very pleasant and pleasurable nice large shrimp and creamy sauce.
I could eat both of these everyday!!
Come on down and give then a try!!
I was talking with Eric and they have a few banquet rooms and catering option available upstairs in the same building!!
Ready for your birthday, wedding reception, office parties etc. Very nice to have another option...

Pros: -Our server was very friendly & quick the day we went- she was lovely -Horchata tasted great; both me & my husband were happy with specifically the taste of our entrees -Didn't have to wait too long for food personally (we went before noon)
Cons: -The food was only warm when we got it. Not piping hot. I understand some things are prepped beforehand & simply reheated in some restaurants and that's fine. But it definitely was not served hot unlike places like Los Arcos for example. -The price for the amount of food (enchiladas and the stuffed chile poblano) did not match how much you get, esp the stuffed chile. I could think of 2 other places where I pay less for about the same amount. And to be fair: the enchiladas were enough to fill me up at the restaurant, but not enough if you want leftovers. So if you don't usually like having leftovers anyway, it might not bother you.
All in all, I would actually try it again, but the first impression was only so-so. If the 2nd time is about the same, I'll just go elsewhere though. Good flavors, good POTENTIAL. I hope...
