Nice little park with a giant enclosed play area for your dog. Parking in a 5 car cutaway lot (gravel) or along the cross streets (all parking is free, the street parking is open 24/7 and I belive the official Park & Lot are open until 11PM. This includes just parking in the lot to look at your phone or relax. APD can, has, and will roll up on you and paper check you if you loiter in the parking lot (even as small as it is) after relegated hours, so be safe and use the street after 11PM.
There is a presence of transients and homeless persons, generally with their camps along the corners opposite the dog pen. Generally speaking (99.9%) of the time, not including if they become aware of a pack of smokes on you, they keep to themselves and have 0 reasons to interact with populations visiting the park for recreational purposes. That's not to say you hearing an outburst or two is impossible, but it is pretty rare, and a physical altercation is 10 times rarer.

Close access to restaurants, a gas station, and bus route 35. Altogether, a neat...
Read moreThe fenced part of the dog park was nice. Lots of trees and rocks to sniff and a big open grass area to play. The only reason I give 3 stars is the homeless and drug addicts use the bushes for a toilet (even though there is one on the other side of the park?!), to do drugs (I found my dog sniffing at a syringe near piles of human poo and used toilet paper), and god knows what else. They basically occupied the whole playground, so I would not take children there, nor would I venture that way if I was a young woman alone. All in all they left me alone and my dog got to run around a bit and...
