The Milk and Ube soft serve I will say is absolutely amazing, if you are unfamiliar with Ube, it is popular down in the Philippines and kind of looks like a purple sweet potato in its raw form. But it is used in sweets along with breads and other things. This soft serve was amazing, the milk flavor melded well with the ube flavor in this smooth creamy symphony of flavor. I really do not have a good way to describe it in so few words.
They were nice enough to give me a Taiyaki cone to enjoy with it as well, I put some of the soft serve in it but honestly it made a little bit of a mess. Still, it was not bad, the open mouth Taiyaki did not have a lot of flavorstoo it, was rather soft instead of crunchy like you would expect from an ice cream cone.
Now the filled taiyaki was enjoyable, it was crispy outside and almost donut like inside it felt like. The bean paste filling was sweet but not overpowering, I could have eaten a lot more of those, not too big either but they sell them in packs of two or four making it easy to just eat a couple of them.
The person working there was quick even with how busy they were, I did see someone get one of their snow bowls and just wow. That was pretty big looking, would say it is not something a person would eat by themselves but hey, if you got someone to share it with that enjoy that kind of things it looked worth it.

Taiyaki cone 5/10 (Was a fun novelty but leaky and not a lot of flavor) bean paste Taiyak 8/10 (Could eat a lot more of these fishies) Service 8/10 (Was attentive and quick, not much more I could ask for in...
Read moreWhoever owns, manages this location is ludicrous. The Dimond Center lower level is packed. There are at least a couple hundred in food court. Most assuredly more people, especially children. With additional people arriving constantly.
Why is Softer desolate. Because someone made the executive decision to not sell their signature fish waffle cones with ice cream. Instead they are only selling waffles with filling the young girl at register informed us. Here we all are, customers, ready to purchase the menu item advertised all over the mall. Although ingredients are available They are only being sold separately (Waffle with filling/ice cream in cup).
Greedy, lousy, busy practice. We won't be returning. This directive also lost the store an opportunity to introduce their products to hundreds of people who won't have a good first...
Read moreI really like the Asian twist on a soft serve ice cream shop. The ube was tasty and rather sweet. I was pretty confused the first time there, as I didn't readily notice that you have to order from the kiosk rather than in person, so I stood there awkwardly for a few seconds before asking the guy working if I was in the right place to order. He kindly pointed out the kiosk. It would've been helpful for him to ask if he could help me since I was standing there for a while, but since it is the mall food court, perhaps they get a lot of foot traffic that only looks, but never orders. Nevertheless, the ice cream was good, and I plan to try the...
